That is so crazy to see the graph of Bitcoin Atom going so down, I was so excited at first in January, but now 1500× lower price is just sad, I thought that Bitcoin Atom would be the future, yay...
Still ahead, the development team is working on atomic swaps, so we are waiting for the events that will come to a new stage of development of the cryptocurrency. Let's face it: BTA fork was less succesfull then BCH and BTG forks, these other two have at least some market support and gave a chance to earn something by qucikly converting them back to BTC. BTA fork was almost as bad as United Bitcoin, almost no one made any serious money on them. There is no point in beating the dead horse.

Price is not still falling, actually it has been pretty stable lately. If you need a reason why people may use this coin, just read about atomic swaps and how cool it is that you won't need to use exchanges thanks to Bitcoin Atom! |

Bitcoin Atom is one of the only forks I will bother claiming to keep, it actually has some merit, but might end in a pile of rubble if the devs can't build a community, but I think they have a chance. It is true to say 95% of forks are crap, and that is why most only go up in price when dodgy things happen with supply on obscure exchanges, but if Bitcoin Atom is around in 2 years it will be obvious it isn't shite. |

I agree. Despite the price is not great, the team keeps working, they just released new Block Explorer that looks really good, not just some open source one. I feel the team will be able to deliver as promised, then this can be really big |

Im new to crypto currencies and very selective with investments. I have looked at this coin for a couple of weeks now and still being dragged to it. I just need that one good argument for buying a bag, sure it got atomic swaps or at least intend to have soonish. However there are others with atomic swaps right? Maybe this is the only forked coin with atomic swaps?
Also I would want to put them into a desktop wallet, preferably a linux one. Which is most popular and safe?
