INTRODUCTION
https://talkimg.com/images/2024/04/09/V02v3.jpeg
Swaps.org, an ⚛️ Atomic Swap DEX and multi-chain self-custodial wallet, supports BTC, XMR, BCA, ETH, ERC-20 (such as DAI, USDC, USDT, etc), and other cryptocurrencies on their native blockchains (not their wrapped alter egos). Tailored for those who prioritize security, versatility, and privacy in their crypto trading, Swaps.org brings several features of CEX (e.g. matching at your limit with multiple parties, and using native blockchains instead of wrapped coins) but is a fully noncustodial DEX which protects your coins and your privacy.

Swaps.org vs. Bitcoinatom.io

Although created by the same team, Swaps and Bitcoinatom differ in their roles in the atomic swap ecosystem. Swaps represents a significant leap in the world of crypto trading, offering a secure, private, and versatile platform for traders. In future releases, Swaps will bring utility to BCA via commission distribution. Swaps.org is the application site for Swaps, where you can download the Swaps app for Mac, Windows or Linux and will eventually feature web-swapping functionality. This is where secure and private trading takes place. Bitcoinatom.io, on the other hand, is designed for news and information regarding the BCA token and its utility in Swaps and beyond. Once Swaps.org sees an uptick in users, low trading fees will be introduced, benefiting BCA token holders.

Hello dev, while we are at it, is there a telegram group for holders? Somewhere information can be passed across?  Or something?  If he's, can you share?

Hey, you can go to swaps.org and download the official Linux and Windows apps - they're already fully working, supporting trustless on-chain swaps for BTC, ETH, XMR, ERC-20 (DAI, USDT, USDC, etc).

Do let us know how you like it! Smiley

Swaps.org is Atomic Swap DEX and multi-chain self-custodial wallet for non-wrapped cryptocurrencies, i.e. BTC, XMR, BCA, ETH, ERC20 (DAI, USDC, USDT)

Great to see that we’ve finally got a full release of BitcoinAtom • Swaps. The cross-chain Atomic Swaps DEX looks awesome. This is the first step towards Satoshi’s vision of making an electronic payment system with no need for a trusted third party, making Bitcoin Atom de facto Bitcoin~2.0.

One question for the core dev:

Are we close to a web-based release of BitcoinAtom • Swaps?

Hey Swaps dev team, Can we bombard the world with several articles on atomic swaps. Did some research and didn't see anything like that in decentralized markets. This could truly be groundbreaking for the crypto market.

What do you mean by "atom GUI tools"? Please use Swaps on swaps.org, which is the latest implementation. You can custody and trade XMR, BTC, ETH, ERC-20 tokens, and BCA through our atomic DEX in a decentralized manner, where you control your own keys.

What specifically does Adaptor Signatures and DLEQ Proofs do, that HTLC doesn’t?

I’m aware that
• Adaptor Signatures enables XMR~BTC trading, and
• DLEQ Proofs enables XMR~ETH/ERC-20 trading.

I’ve also understood that HTLC enables cross-chain Atomic Swaps between cryptocurrencies with smart contract capabilities, and that Adaptor Signatures and DLEQ Proofs enables cross-chain Atomic Swaps between smart contract coins with non-smart contract coins.

I just don’t understand how this is done.

Is it possible for the Swaps core dev to give us some insight into these cross-chain Atomic Swaps mechanisms?

*Adaptor Signatures*: These are an extension of standard Schnorr signatures, which allow for the exchange of digital signatures between two parties without revealing the private key. This is crucial for enabling cross-chain atomic swaps, like those between Monero (XMR) and Bitcoin (BTC), where privacy is of utmost importance.

*DLEQ proofs*: These are "Discrete Log Equals to Zero" proofs, which are a special type of cryptographic proof used in zero-knowledge protocols. DLEQ proofs are used in ETH/ERC-20 atomic swaps to ensure that a specific Ethereum account can only be unlocked by a specific Monero public key.

Basically, the Monero transaction can only be unlocked by the Ethereum account if the DLEQ proof is correct.

Here are some advantages of using atomic swaps:

1. *No Counterparty Risk*: Atomic swaps are trustless, meaning that the parties involved don't have to trust each other or rely on a third party. This reduces the risk of fraud or theft.

2. *Increased Privacy*: Atomic swaps can provide greater privacy by eliminating the need for centralized exchanges, which often require personal information and collect data about user activity.

3. *Lower Fees*: Centralized exchanges often charge high fees for their services. Atomic swaps can eliminate these fees, potentially making it cheaper to trade assets.

4. *Decentralization*: Atomic swaps are based on decentralized technologies like blockchain, which makes them resistant to censorship and gives users more control over their assets.

In summary, atomic swaps offer a number of advantages over traditional methods of exchanging assets, making them an attractive option for those seeking greater security, privacy, and control in their financial transactions.
