Hey nguyenhoven, there is no bounty campaign as this is not an ICO, but in case you own some bitcoins, you will receive BCA at the ratio of 1:1.

Edit: Due to high number of messages asking about the BCA Bounty program, we are considering to create one, spreading a word about Bitcoin Atom.

BITCOIN ATOM is not just another fork, but implements core fundamentals that Satoshi Nakamoto outlined in his white paper. Such as decentralization and removal of dependency on any one party or system.

While cryptocurrencies can be exchanged P2P and on exchanges, it is inefficient, costly, and subject to hacks, and credit risk -- in general anything which is centralized could be compromised, and should be avoided if possible.

We believe that with crypto becoming an asset class, Atomic Swaps are the future of trading and exchanging value. We feel that BITCOIN ATOM is the future of Bitcoin as it is the only implementation of atomic swaps embedded in Bitcoin.

I was trying to find out about the block number when the fork will happen but there is no information about this in roadmap. This new roadmap should be updated at opening post of this thread as well. Large number of people use these thread as main source of information.

Bitcoin Atom is a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain with major protocol upgrades that will occur in mid-December (block number TBA). At the predetermined block number the original BTC blockchain will be forked into BCA, and any transactions made since then will be completely separate on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Atom networks. At that moment, Bitcoin Atom will go live on mainnet and become a fully functional cryptocurrency.

All Bitcoin holders who possess their private keys at the moment of the fork (block number TBA) will receive Bitcoin Atom at the rate of 1 BTC = 1 BCA. You need to control your Bitcoin private keys in order to claim and transact Bitcoin Atom.

TBA = to be determined, but we will publish the block number ASAP once it is set. Expected blocknum is 500,000+, exact number to be announced in the coming days, so stay tuned for updates!
