Edit: It seems a few of you are agreeing and few are not.  I remember a time the few of you said the same thing about 10,000 USD a bitcoin.  I remember when they said that about 1,000 USD.  Guess what they are all kicking their arses now.

The rise up to 10K took a very long time already, and issues like energy costs and transaction fees and a large number of unconfirmed transactions are popping up, to say nothing about whether the crypto economy will make it possible to reach 100M. Well for one thing, that's objectively false.  Regardless of whether you think it'll happen, you still need to use the future tense.

Secondly, there's absolutely no guarantee that it will happen either.  Actually, I consider it extremely unlikely, especially in our lifetimes.  BTC currently isn't capable of handling more than a few transactions per second so as of yet it's simply incapable of replacing fiat money.

There's nowhere near enough money in the world for the price to be $100,000,000, so you would have to hope for the US dollar to hyperinflate before that time.

The question is when though no ne can tell the specific date holding some of your satoshis might give you the opportunity of becoming a millionaire in the future we should be patience while waiting for now focus on earning bitcoin and as much as possible try to keep some for investment and do not sell them right away if you don't need the money yet.
