most cases, when btc rises, then alt down ..
because the time btc demmand is rising sharply, so all alt holders move their assets to btc with cheaper price
maybe they are panic selling

first bitcoin has to be in a bubble before it can burst.  something that doesn't exist or proven to exist can not burst!

but lets assume bitcoin is a bubble, since you seem to have already made up your mind. in that case altcoin will by devastated. so far each time bitcoin went down, altcoins went down and sometimes even harder.
if what you say came true, it will be chaos in crypto market i assure you.

In my opinion if the market loses the confidence in cryptos then just every coin/token will drop as much as possible. But hopefully it wouldn't be anytime soon.

95+% will bust too for sure. Alts are always follow BTC in it's rise and fall.
This is the reason why you should never invest or keep in crypto currencies more than you can afford to lose.

Yeah usually when BTC rises alts go down but recently when Bitcoin went up from 6k to 11k Alt-coins price went up as well except few coins, it was all green now prices are fluctuating again.

I hope when the correction of bitcoin begins many investors will pour it to different alts. So probably alts will even raise. But I understand it's very optimistic point of view... it's much more probable that they all will follow for BTC...

That is a fact. No BTC, no altcoins. This would be the worst case scenario for everyone here, lets hope the bubble wont be that big.

if the trades they do by selling the altcoin they hold ,, and move it to bitcoin in the moment its upward trend ,. this can not be said selling panic ,. because this is included into the trading strategy that can be called by following the trend. this method can run smoothly if we make it into the sidelines of rising prices

If you're lucky, the bitcoin whales will pour some money into alts. However, it is hard to know which alts they will choose. Assuming you have a portfolio of coins, most will be red but perhaps 1 or 2 will be green with a high percentage

Lol. First of all man, bitcoin is not a bubble. Sure, honestly speaking, ot may really look like a bubble at first glance but i am telling you, it isn't. I am sure that anyone who has been here for quite some time will tell you the same. Although it is something hard to explain, but is understandable woth common sense.

Now, naturally, the same things just happen over and over again everytime. Well at least since i came into this crypto world. When bitcoins rise, alts fall. And when alts fall, bitcoin rises. And the same thing happens over again like a cycle.

But hey, that's justy opinion amd how i see things. Just wanted to share.

If something happens to bitcoin and it sharply falls in price, this, of course, will negatively affect the altcoyns. However, it is necessary to take into account that each altcoyin was created for its purpose and has tasks that differ from the general tasks of bitcoin operation. Therefore, if a particular altcoyin has good support in its industry, then a sharp drop in the price of bitcoin on this altkone will not be greatly affected.

Altcoins price are based in that of btc, you can see in charts. If bubble pops immediately alts will go down and there would be a time period until they will recover. So yes if btc pops alts pop as well.

Altcoins crashed alongside Bitcoin during the last huge crash.  People lost a lot of confidence in the crypto market as a whole.

Some coins recovered, many died off.

When there isn't a large bubble popping crash though some altcoin prices negatively correlate while others positively correlate so it is a mixed bag.   Litecoin seems to follow bitcoin for example while XRP does not correlate.  Some people think this is because XRP targets a separate audience where Bitcoin and Litecoin target the same.  (got those stats from https://www.coindesk.com/follow-leader-analyzing-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-price-correlations/)

Or will they feed off of Bitcoin's carcass and take off?

First of all there is a space for several (may be dozens!) BTC more with the same capitalization to form a really big bubble. Comparing to dotcom bubble, crypto's are bringing even more new stuff than Google, Oracle and Amazon from that period - generally speaking they are saving a lot of energy related to money transactions, money storage, investments and profit distribution and there really are tens of thousands things that this blockchain and dags are bringing to our life. So it is hard to predict, this bubble, will it happen or not, sure that money regulators in many leading world economies constantly calculating the possible consequences - nobody needs GD2. But answer for your question is not trivial - there are already 2-3 platforms except BTC. So possibly they can simply win the market and you will see other phoenixes than BTC after the burst.

We can say all of the coins would follow bitcoin under that condition. It's not realistic, but in theory all of the coins would crash very hard by losing their base value and going deeper and deeper in the exchanges. Nothing can survive if bitcoin dies.

For sure that altcoins will be affected at the same time.
Most altcoins are exchanged by bitcoin some of themes only by BTC.
But a moment after something other can happen as one altcoin will take the first place.

Its hard to say what could happen in a case like that. There may be a long period of mistrust in all the crypto world.
