Because there are many teams wanna get profit when releasing the tokens. But I think that also creates the oppotunities for investors can invest in them and get profit
That's right. running a blockchain today is very easy because the source-code is open source and it's freely to download, edit, use and distribute. Bitcoin core, Ethereum geth, LiteCoin and other platforms are free to access so that's why technically all these technology can be operated by anyone. Another thing, there's no regulation on launching this blockchain that's why there are thousands of coins are now available and people can choose which one is better than the others. |

All people want to get profit at any legal cost so that's why there's a lot of investors today that are willing to pay more just to invest tokens and expect someday it will give them back good profits in return. But some of the geeks and developers are turning into Blockchain because this will give them fast income and good money when they make their own cryptocurrency network so that's why there are too many coins today. |

Each altcoin has a uniqueness. Usually they are made by a team called developers, altcoin is now arguably a valuable thing because of the ever-increasing price and improved public response to altcoin. Maybe we can call the dollar as bitcoin and yen, rupees, pounds sterling as altcoin. That is a normal number and we also recognize that the real currency in the world also often experiences movement. Nowadays a lot of popping up a project, I think this can be said as an ICO manufacture, it will try to continue to bring investors in order to run the development of altcoin. Meanwhile I think bitcoin already has a different path. Until now bitcoin is still appreciated and I think everyone is familiar with bitcoin. |

Every coin ( altcoin ) have their own unique and that's why supply and demand created. Nothing too worry about number of altcoin but how we take the right coin to replace our money is important. As long their pattern still follow bitcoin, I'll create some opportunity by doing some trade/ invest with it. Just keep follow the trend and always update crypto news. |

the amount of altcoin I think does not matter as long as you can see the benefits of the coin.

All digital currencies are called cryptocurreny..Yep, Every altcoins are vary to one to one..
For example,that varying on their price, their trademark and their name, trading technique. So many coins are created for competitive, Because it is competition world. Some coins are junk and some alts are scam..
Noway our thinking is bitcoin is the only best crypto coin and others are consider as alts.All are cryptos, it only developed by how many users are used and it based on its price also..

It's a good theme for discuss. I think the reason from your question "Why so many altcoin" maybe because the price of bitcoin very expensive, so the investor and developer make a new innovations token alternative for miners and traders can do this again as a substitute for bitcoin. And their are believe if altcoin (alternative coin) as soon as possible can be rival of bitcoin, but next times.
