I'm putting together a list of PPM stats to assess how bad my CPU is compared to everyone else!
I'm getting 1 to 7 pps on an AMD APU.
1.Eli0t avg: 130 pps intel i5
2. bvdev avg 80 pps AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 270
last place: fishy avg: 4 pps AMD APU

Giving this a try for a while and seem to have settled at around 12 primes per second on a virtualbox installation of Ubuntu, which is using the equivalent of one core of a Dual core pentium E5800 3.2Ghz processor.
Haven't found any blocks yet.

Yep, using all cores and it was already at 15 minutes at around 5 to 10 pps. I just saw the problem, as I saw my gpu0 scrypt hashrate was reduced, I just stopped mining on that and my pps rate is going up.

Intel Core i7-3930k CPU x6 (12 cores)
Saw it peak over 368 pps. Only running on 10 cores atm as it effects GPU mining speed when using cgminer with another coin.
I'll try some overclocking tomorrow.

With mikaelh's rebuild, your peak should be much more than that, right?
