I will first moved it out of the address to my safest wallet , then start exchnaging it little by little. But I will leave 50 % of it as investment and the rest for buying my wants. Cars, house, business and philanthropist work.

We have all read stories of coins being sent to wrong addresses (typos or badly copy and pastes)

What would you do if 100 Btc landed into your account? (unfortunately this has not happened to me yet)

If that 100 btc landed on my wallet accidentally that most of you says it's impossible to happen.
I'd still give it back to the sender if it's possible.
Because I don't want to be in his shoe.

It is extremely unpropable, but since it landed on wallet, where I hold the private keys for... Technically, it's mine.

Coin being sent to a wrong address is understandable if you are sending a small amount of coins, you never care whether you are sending it to the right address or not,but for big amounts you will be careful and will re check the address before sending,so these sort of silly mistakes are not possible right now because the price is too high and hence everyone is careful while sending.

I don't think sending bitcoins to a wrong address is possible without any prompting message. However, if it happens so I will surely resend to the right address and only charge for the transaction fee

First of all, I sent different amounts to several purses. Then he would bring a significant amount in dollars. I would buy a lot of real estate and cars. Well, I hoped that I would not find.

If there would be a time someone sent me 100 btc on my account, then I'll keep it for good. I think that anyome would do that though. It's because there are no communication in blockchain. Once processed then there's no way out for your funds to go back in your wallet anymore. So, it is better for you to double, triple check while sending.

This is almost incredible. Since I have not seen such mistakes yet. But it would be nice for me to get that amount on my balance. I would immediately transfer them to dollars or other currency and another purse

You can't make a mistype bit I know you never Kent this. You could copy and paste the wrong address or have a virus that when you waste it posts an address owned by the virus creator. I once had that. Nasty business. Always check your address 5x or even 100x because once it's sent that's it no retakes no nothing.

Like any good engineer would tell you. Measure 100x but only cut once.

It's too close to impossible that will happen to anyone, for different reasons, i will write two of them.

1- When a person decide to send such this huge amount, usually he will check the address and the amount two, three time ore maybe more, before he send the 100 btc.
2- If he is so idiot to send 100 btc wrongly, I mean to another address not existing, it will show him that the address is wrong before he can send it.

The only case that he can send this amount wrongly, is when he sends it to an existing address which is excluded, because this chance is too low. But if i received such this great amount i will gave it up back to the owner.

Lol. Judging by your post, i really think that you are really a beginner and haven't put any effort into learning about things regarding cryptos here in the crypto world. Not even the basics at least. You should be careful about what you post because it reflects on the kind of person that you are.

How did i know? Simply because it is impossible to happen. But okay, assuming it really did happen and I accidentally received a 100 bitcoins, then i would return it. Minus the fees. Because i know how hard it is to earn that much bitcoins. It's up to the owner if he'd give me some. Smiley

The only scenario I knew for sending to the wrong bitcoin address is when your PC/laptop is infected by a virus that when you are copying your own bitcoin address and pasting it that will change automatically to other btc address. And that's the address of the virus creator that infected your PC. There's no way that someone will even send 0.01BTC to your address accidentally, btc address is compose of unique combination of letters and words.

this is nearly impossible to happen, but anyway if a hundred bitcoin missend to me,first thing that would do is ill put the 70% of it to my most trusted wallet.Second,i will invest the 20% of it.Third i will convert its 10% to our currency which is really be a huge value and buy whatever i want,go wherever i want, make a business and help those who need.

maybe I will send it back the the address, I don't know why but I just feels that is not my money and I know he will too sad because of this. but I don't understand about sending the wrong address because I am sure that all of us will double check the address before we click the send button, right? besides that, I am sure before we send, there is an info that will say the wallet address is valid or not so we can continue to send.

Straight back. No questions asked and no question about it. There's no way i'm denying someone else their money.

In most jurisdictions it's also regarded as theft the moment you start to spend it. Check out all the chumps who get their bank accounts filled by mistake and go on a spending spree. They all get nailed.

The chances are most of your addresses are linkable to your ID somewhere unless you're hot on your opsec.

I would probably be called a liar for saying this but I would find a way to send it back to the owner. First of all it's not mine I have no liberty of spending it. Secondly, just think of the owner. What if he need that money for something important? Lastly, your conscience will not let you have your good night sleep. Well if you do have a conscience. Grin

Well, that's money on the air and that's inevitable and that could really happen to anyone. I would love to send it back to the address where it came from but of course, i would like to get the charge fee from the btc i received.
