For me ,I think that bitcoin will stay the best for a long term because for example when we see the value of the market cap of this currency and the other altcoins then we conclude that there is a huge difference between them so there is always a priority for bitcoin in many other things like the price, the volume ..
As well , I guess that there will be a development of some currencies and they may compete Bitcoin but this may take some long time and I think that Ripple and Etheruem will progress in a fast way.

I think it will still be for a long time, as it is first ancestor of crypto currency. Unless it is banned by governments from all over the world, i cannot see it falls from grace any time soon.
I believe it will last long if we want it to. As long as there are individuals and investors whom undoubtedly will utilize, support, advertise, advocate and circulate bitcoins there's nothing to really worry about. As technology further develops and there is a lasting demand for btc and cryptocurrencies, bitcoin will be here for a long considerable amount of time. |

Yes, Bitcoin is the ancestor of cryptocurrency and the software behind bitcoin can evolve itself. But I still believe that it's replaceable in 5 years or maybe sooner.

Talking about bitcoin's longevity in its dominance in the cryptoworld is limitless. As long as bitcoin is still around, it will continue its dominance because more and more investors are coming in to invest on this coin since this coin has really served its purpose. |

The answer is forever. Bitcoin will never be replaced by any cryptocurrency. It will always be the leader in the world of cryptocurrency. Why is that? Take a look at each of the price of cryptocurrencies. Compare them to each other. You will see that the price of Bitcoin is so far to each of the price of other cryptocurrencies.

always bitcoin will be main dog in this place , you have seen it the market capture too big time and larger size than any other thing in this place sorry , to me no possible for something to destroy bitcoin Bitcoin will survive for ever and I believe that no other crypto can replace bitcoin because bitcoin is totally different than any other crypto its vision is different than any currency in last year bitcoin make a record business and it’s still going high in a very short time bitcoin will be an international currency its now unstoppable and this year bitcoin will also do something extra which will attract more people toward it self. |

I do not know how long they will be the king pf cryptos because they are the pioneer so it is hard for them to be replaced because in the mind you the people bitcoins is their first thing to be known and the trust and the faith in in the bitcoins not in the other coins especially altcoins a lot of people are thinking that altcpins are just a shitcoins and scams. But as we can see there are a lot of altcoins that are rising up and building milestones so maybe bitcoins will be surpass by another coins we cannot know we cannot predict the future just chrish the moment. |

Maybe the next 50 years bitcoin still leads. Bitcoin is the first coin, so it is quite difficult for other coins to shift the bitcoin. |

BTC will remain the leader no matter what because of popularity and current widespread accessibility. In most countries, it's common to have a BTC exchanger from local fiat and not much with other coins.
oh man, would you play with GT210 if there is gtx1050 with the same price of your old GPU and 100x better in every aspect? If yes, then seems you are fan of this and don't care about anything other. Bitcoin has very high fees now which is out of control and kills my decision to send anything with bitcoin. Also there are better alternatives + higher size of blockchain. If this coin will be reviewed and edited, it will be the best one, however, no one cares about it. |

for now bitcoin will still lead in the crypto, because there is still no coin that can rival the bitcoin, just waiting time will come a new coin that will replace bitcoin, only time can answer it

We cannot determined if the bitcoin will remain the leading in digital crytocurrency world. But as I can see now ethereum has a potential to take the lead. As we can see aslo bitcoin value is playing within $13k - $15k but ethereum is still rising up. Maybe in the next few years bitcoin will not take the lead and ethereum will replace it. |

The exact time will not be person who knows when bitcoin can be replaced by another coin. But most likely bitcoin will lead the world of crypto in a long time. Bitcoin is the mother of another coin, it caused by bitcoin is the first successful and widely known digital currency in the world. People who lay in the world of crypto surely they only know bitcoin only, not for another coin.
Any road, today there are many altcoin whose advantages aren't be possessed by bitcoin. Like fast transaction processing and low fee for one transaction, maybe it's just sweetener from cryptocurrency world. Perhaps in the future bitcoin developers will fix up the weakness of bitcoin.

Bitcoin will not fall but prices will decrease. bitcoin is the parent of all cryptocurrency. if the falling bitcoin of another cryptocurrency will also fall. but if the price drop is a natural thing |
