That might be a good idea for some people, but for me it is not. I will not sell my main assets for bitcoin investments. But if I have some house, maybe I will think the risk first.

I think it is not advisable because it is so risky. What if you are so greedy and you lost the money you got when you sell your house? You will end up homeless and you cant even do bitcoin again. Gain some financial support for your investment through jobs or joining campaigns.

Just remembering this post and I guess if OP really did this and sell it before 2 months since the value that he was aiming already reached before the year ends, then he really got a lots of money thinks that he already bought back the house or already got much bigger one, its all about taking risk and looking
to find some luck beside you, but in real life its too risky to do that and gamble with fate, bitcoin is a good investment but better to use spare money or assess where you can easily forget fro some time.

What you're talking about is a huge amount of risk. Risk is all relative though depending on personal circumstance.

If you're a property magnate and are totally financially secure then perhaps selling one of your properties and putting it into Bitcoin isn't a half bad idea.

If on the other hand you barely have enough money to invest in BTC, your full-time job just covers your outgoings, you support a family, and you only own one home (which you live in), then it would be insanely risky to sell and invest in BTC.

All comes down to personal circumstance.

Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.

and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.

Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.

would you try this technique.
I'm not going to try this. It's too risky. We don't know what the future price of bitcoin is, it's unstable, it can crash at any time and it can cost a lot of money, so you're going to lose your house and become homeless.

Since I don't own any properties, I will not do this. Why do you need to do this ? why not focus more on getting money without sacrificing all your memories with your house. Yes bitcoin is really profitable but doing this is not an Ideal thing, save money then invest on bitcoin later on.

I think selling a house for bitcoin investment is not advisable. I believe that we can have the capability to invest even in a small amount without selling our house. We only need to wait foe the next dropping of the bitcoin price to invest into it we don't have to do selling a house or any kinds of material to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin is unpredictable we can win or loss on it.

Most people don't agree with this. It's too risky. You know, the encrypted money market has strong volatility. Remember that a few years ago, bitcoin in a few months, the market value is reduced by 90%, if it is to own a house or loan to do such investment, then such a thing must not do. There are always opportunities, but if you take a risk, you may lose more.

I admit that investing in bitcoin, always gives big advantage. but if I have to use a way like you to buy bitcoin, I have not dared.
Your way is different from me, I use bitcoin to buy a house, but you sell a house to buy bitcoin.
maybe someday I can do a way like you.

How would you react seeing BTC suffer from a correction and dropping in value just as it did when the price dropped $2500 from $11250 to $8750.
What will happen if you sell the amount in panic and lose your stakes about 25% . I know Bitcoin would recover the price but why would a person take such a big risk of losing his house when we know how risky it is investing in BTC. I don't think anybody would sell his house to buy BTC when he knows it could be stolen from wallet and never be recovered.

You can invest bitcoin from your salary or do job in bitcoin to get capital for invest.

Many people like their homes, at least I do. So I would not play with my home.
Selling the house does not mean the new owner will sell it back to you for the same price, or at all.
And then there is always the risk that the price of bitcoin does not develope the way expacted. What do then? live a year on the street? Or two?
No, this is a very bad idea!

This is only useful if you have multiple properties and can sell one for BTC while living in the main residence. If you sell your only house for btc then it will be difficult to buy another one unless it is mainstream for everyone to accept btc as a form of payment.

It's good to take a risk but selling your house is not a reasonable decision. Home is one of the basic needs, compare it to investing in bitcoin. The ratio is not even close to half of its equality.

Sell my house! I don't think so.. Sometime we should be wise enough in what to sell for an investment or additional profit tho bitcoin is really profitable.. I do agree its not ideal and rather save money then invest after wards..We work hard for a living to invest and a house that you can call your own is one of them not unless you have many houses or properties to sell and my ROI/ investment will return as in a day after.. But still investment is added with a wise result..

I strongly agree to this opinion. It is not a right decision to sell my house and then invest it in bitcoin. It is really too risky and not wise thing to take.
We should be better to use our idle money by saving our monthly income and later on we invest or buy bitcoin. I consider this as the best decision to take.

I think thats kind of technique is too risky cause, you sell your real asset and than buy digital asset, as we know its risk playing digital asset and the price of bitcoin some time could drop, just carefull.

If you asked me to sell my house for just investment in bitcoin, I don't see a necessity to vend my house just to invest in bitcoin. Their a lot of way to start spending on the bitcoin you could ask loan no the banks or my to your family. What if the value of bitcoin goes dump,  You will guilt selling it you don't have a house. That is a big problem. Our objective is to get in bitcoin not to miss everything especially the home
