All you can do is read & follow these instructions, which I assume you haven't done (or haven't done recently) because it states to send a signed message to Cyrus first.

How else are you planning  to prove that you are the real owner of that account ? I could say I'm the owner too and how exactly would you believe me ?  Lips sealed
If you have your personal data which can be used to prove your identity then we can verify that but since anonymity is a huge concern for people here,signed messages are a way to go.
