Does bitcointalk have a TOS? If so, where? I don't recall agreeing to one while signing up/registering with this account, but i may have forgotten about it.
I can't find anything through google or bitcointalk itself either.

This thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2526274.0, raised some questions for me, as to whether or not bitcointalk is legally binded aswell to remove my data, and if this was specified in the TOS for example.

Would be curious to know.

My thought is that this may be intentional to not create any agreements with users or have a clear set of terms that would have to be followed or could be manipulated to use against the forum or its staff/mods/etc.
A safe guess may be that theymos does not want to create any type of ToS agreement with users for the same (or similar) reasons why there is not an "official" set of rules... it has to be the unofficial (official) set of rules.  Smiley

No "official" set of rules was ever published, because if rules are set in stone, then people will come up with clever ways to bypass them, and then complain when a moderator takes action. This is however a very good thread to read to find out in general what you can and can't do. I do believe it should be stickied, but kept as "unofficial"
