Having trouble deciding if I should sell or hold IOTA. I have 600 shares that I bought a couple days ago at $1.55 and another 390 shares I bought at $2.78.  IOTA is now trading at $3.93.

Upward trend going to continue or is this simply a pump and dump?

You can still hold Smiley

Time for IOTA will come. IOTA is a really good project. It is coin of next-generation crypto and it has a really bright future.

It uses DAG-system and it solving known problems which blockchain - based cryptos have.

In my opinion IOTA will do a hughe pump in a future . If have some IOTA and I plan hodl it at least a half year . But of course , you can sell it now to receive a good profit and buy something else , that is more perspective than IOTA (sure , if you know such token) . Anyway, that's only yours decision .

You don't buy shares you bough a currency. Don't listen to other people, make your own dessicion. IOTA has good conecpt I can at least tell you that, but they are still in beta phase and somewhat is a currency thats strictly depended on speculation value more since you can't really use it elsewhere. If you are not certain you could transfer some IOTA to BTC/other crypto/ fiat currency only the amount that you have invested in. So basically all other coins that are left over can stay for holding - its a nice strategy but if its implemented and price of IOTA raises up whell then you lose something...

Yeah I have a felling that all there is is just some big pump since many cryptos are just breaking new ATH, although we might be wrong but there is a good indication that this scene is just a bubble. But for me I guess it i easier to hold my cryptos than to try to re-enter the crypto scene buy selling now and waiting for price to drop or simply use it at places that accept bitcoin and some alts.

IOTA is one of the few long-term crypto-currencies. According to the forecasts of specialists, the number of connections in the world of "Internet of things" to 2020 will reach $ 1 billion, which will significantly affect the needs of users in a reliable billing network with transactions without commissions. IOTA has great potential.

Tangle is still a distant concept. I'd rather stick with my blockchains on my portfolio Smiley

In the long term I think it has a lot of potential because not every crypto based business partners up with Microsoft. I think IOTA can become something really big in the future, so my recommendation is to hold it.

The best is yet to come!

Iota created a big hype among us last  week. All these rumors including the one with Microsoft got us thinking if iota will keep on going up. It seems it will stay in these levels for a while . We will see where it goes after we learn the truth behind these rumors.

So based on your post you already made money so why are you still holding? You wan't to earn more? Selling and Buying again is not a good idea because we cant tell if IOTA price will drop after New Year. After you sold IOTA what are your plans with the proceeds? You plan to buy another coin and wait till profit? Its same thing? But at the end of the day its still you who will decide if you will sell or not.

If you have large fund, you should definetly hold. But your intention is to make money via trade, then you may change your focus (at least I did).
