$50 is a small amount and for sure you will not earn big profit from that,  because you only buy a coim who price is very cheap.  But I suggest you can try to buy ripple and maybe you will good profit because the price of the ripple is $1. For me the possible price od the ripple after this hear will be $50-$100 so if thag happen for sure you will be happy.  But if you have extra money better to buy more altcoins.

In a short perspective I would invest in tokens which are lower then 200 place at coinmarketcap or new coins which still not realised for example if you invest in tokens which are at higher places you have a lower chance that this coin will grow up high

With 50$, I can say that is a small amount of money, I would say take a high risk investment and buy a coin
that is a shitcoin today that has a potential to pump, normally when its a hype coin there is a chance it will pump before it will die.
just make sure you learn when to get out so you can get out with a profit.

I will do some research first about altcoin that I will buy and resale. Then I will trade altcoin continuously to get multiple benefits. After enough profit data, I will allocate to buy bitcoin as a long-term asset.
