You can take a risk and invest in a popular ICO, and if you do not risk it, you can do something from the top 10, I for example invested in Credits , now good project in which i believe is Essentia

I'd go with Dash. I think it is here to stay.

50$ is too small amount to invest.Sure,you can buy some cheap coins like Doge,Tron,maybe Ripple but dont expect huge profit.Most likely in a year or two your 50$ will become 500.Better try to get more money,at least 200-300 $ enough for a first investment.

I would invest this amount not in crypto, but in knowledge. Perhaps I would buy lessons on trading. I am sure that this is a very promising direction now.

This is not a very large amount, so it wouldn't be so terrible to lose it. But it can be multiplied several times if you invest this amount in high-profit projects. I think that you can find a suitable project among ICO. This is a very popular way of earning nowadays.

If I have $50 in my hand right now, I will buy $PRL in Kucoin. I've read just a while ago that they are launching an airdrop to those holders of $PRL in their private wallet. This will happen April 6, 2018. But aside from an airdrop, $PRL now is very much cheap. So if they are going to have an airdrop, expect the price will go up before the snapshot. So better to buy right now before it pumps.

$ 50 can be invested in some promising altcoyin and wait for it to grow well in value. For example IOTA. The coin has a good growth potential. And already in 2018 this coin will be pleasantly surprised by the growth of its price.

I would go to the shop and buy some food   50$ are not money to invest. Really. You could buy some very cheap alts, but you will be not able to transfer 50$ to exchange, its not enough

If you have only 50 dollars pay attention on cheap  interesting and misjudged (in your opinion) coins.
Or invest this money in education

I f I have $50, I will put it in some investment companies or I will buy coins such as bitcoin or altcoins then hold it. Then, I will wait for the price increase of that coins and sold it in trading sites.

At this rate, invest it in like 5 coins (id go for top 5) you feel like investing in 10usd each. A very high risk thing to do but it doesnt hurt to lose all that if you just want to dip your toes into the crypto world.
Take consideration the fees as well so whatever money you got left after putting in on a good high volume exchange like binance. divide it and then leave it there for a week. if you get a bit of profit then no matter how much that is sell them. Or hold them for no matter how long you want.

Some tips look for coins in CMC that has low supply, high volume in 24hrs. there's a good chance you get revenue if not a dollar probably 2. It really depends on what you want to do mate, but good luck!

I would invest in Matrix AI Network token. It still not popular now but I think after 2 years or after this year this will become known because they are already starting to make progress in launching the block chain that offers AI technology.

You should understand that this is a small amount that will not bring you a very big profit. But this is better than complete inaction. I would buy NEM and hold it for several years. I am sure that this is a very strong, legit and reliable project.

Only 50$? Better wait a little bit more and gather more money, about at least 200$. Then for you to deversify the risk of your investment you can put some of your money on the top 15 Coins, another money in the top 30-50, and the last little pieace to top 100 for gamble.

$50 is hardly any amount to invest in crypto currency I suggest you put 3-5k worth of investment in to crypto

$50 is not much, but it is about what I started out with. I wouldn't invest your last $50 or anything, but if you have it to spare then I think SYS and Waves are pretty solid. Also, ETH is down now and I think it will be going back up.
