What's your vision of cryptocurrencies ?

I'm 20 i search an investment for my 60, I found bitcoin years ago but bought my first satosh only in early 2017,
So i'm searching for a 40year investment, do you think crypto will still there or it'll crash before ?
  
-First : I think holding both alt and btc is contradictory for longtime investment(because of the correction), except for risk diversification but I'm more convinced in btc than any other coin what's bring us to the second point
-2nd : BTC becoming mainstream, most of people are not like us, searching the best coin etc... if the most known cryptocurrency work why go to the other ?
Because of transaction speed/fee? More/less coin supply? Smart contract ? lightning network ? they don't care and don't want to know
btc and all the crypto are deeply linked, if btc crash that's the end of crypto but if it continue to grow up crypto will too (but look the first)

I searched for a good store of value, i think it can be the best choice
but btc and crypto look more interesting for short time anyway
Like I said i search a store of value that can make benefits for my old days but it's not, it's a currency it can't be both
It cause incredible problems : actual circulation supply : 16,750,000 btc (around 2-4M unusable) , 16,750,000,0000,0000 satoshi
why establish it as a currency if it's price go up everyday ? why spend it ?
Imagine you as picking a bit of your gold bar every morning to buy bread. no that's dumb you use fiat

I dont believe anymore in the systeme because of the banker system, the debt , the derivative market, the creation of money ......without speak about politicians ..... I think everything is corrupt and is done to make rich richer

Most people does seem to be more interested in bitcoin than regular currency trade because bitcoin has much influence on world economy.
I alone can't speculate what would happen with bitcoin in next 40 years but for now, bitcoin is the most profitable asset for all type of tribes.
You can invest now and make your minimum target upto 5 years. Later you can decide what to do further by exploring market

you are talking about 40 years! nobody can predict anything for that long in my opinion specially when we are talking about bitcoin.
in case you missed it, bitcoin is still "an experiment" the code is still in beta for gods sake

it has a huge potential, i am not denying that but it is still a risky investment. and i was saying it even when price was something like $400 and i would have said it even when it was $1.

if you want to invest, then diversify. not to altcoins but to other usual investments like gold or whatever you think is good.

altcoins are good but i do not trust them for long term investment. i prefer them as a short one to just trade and make more profit on my bitcoin that is my real long term investment.

  cryptocurrency may use in future for payment on big scale but in terms of profit earning perspective its scope will expand further .

No one knows the answer. Take the risks. You are the one who will make your crypto journey be successful.

My own view:

Crypto earnings can really give us a good and decent in the long run. Like every other investments, you should know and understand the risks you are dealing with. Meaning don't just stick on one method if the goal is to secured your funds after retirement. If such cases, that only crypto investments is your preferred method then improved your method and take advantage of every trend.

List all your doubts and analyze what would be the best solution. For example, you aren't sure if bitcoin will last forever, then take the ride today before it will gone. Relying too much in the future of bitcoin may just wreck your expectations so stay on reality.

Well 40 years is a long investment and it's probably safe to say that if you invest now the two most likely options are either you have nothing or you're completely rich. I would advise against your strategy of only investing in bitcoin however. For such a long term period diversification is key. I feel that cryptocurrencies as a whole have a far better outlook over the next 40 years than bitcoin alone.

In my opinion crypto currency will still be here even after 40 years, we are heading for the digital world right now and crypto might be the accepted in some other country as a legit money.
Im sure that bitcoin and altcoins will be valuable by that time and will continue to grow its user among other countries.

Good investment on your part if you are planning to invest and believe in bitcoin. The price value of bitcoin continues to soar and there is no stopping it.
My vision for cryptos are the following:
-there will be many altcoins that will be produced but not all will succeed
-bitcoin will be used in most establishments
-bitcoin value will skyrocket

I think cryptocurrency will still be used in the future as a means of payment in purchasing goods or services. It will be accepted by institutions and businesses in the whole world. Since crypto now is growing faster and there are lots of people invensting on bitcoin, i think there will come a time that number of crypto will explode. But i think it will take far more than 40 years before it happens.

Of course I am here in this cryptocurrency world because of Bitcoin. I believe that with Bitcoin, me and my family will escape poverty since Bitcoin will give us financial freedom. I can see my bright future with Bitcoin which I can't see it in fiat money. A lot of early adopters are now millionaires but not all of them. Fiat money is no doubt a stable asset but the problem with it is the fact that it is centralized. Investing money with centralized asset is not that good due to tax while in cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin, we are in full control of our own funds though still taxable here in my country since our local exchange is regulated by central banks. I believe Bitcoin will not only change mine but also your fortunes as long as we are Bitcoin diehard, I mean believer with hardworks.

In the next 40 years, I think cryptocurrencies will still be there. In this modern era, we can find anything and everything with internet. Almost no privacy at all. Therefore I think this is the advantage of crypto, we can make an anonymous transaction. Pretty sure in the next 40 years, there are lots of anonymous crypto coin.

Cryptocurrency looks like it is going to boom in the future. In fact, it has already started booming right now. I think cryptocurrency is indeed the future of money. This will take a while because Crypto needs wider exposure first, but eventually this will hopefully be a normal thing. I am just in love with controlling all my money completely by myself. My vision here is that by 40 years cryptocurrencies will be scattered all around the world and more investors will be successful in the field of the cryptocurrency world.

We have no to wait for a long as in near future cryptocurrency the only option left in this corrupt world in all regards the whole world will have to depend by way of digital processing for their all transactions, by this way people will uplift to improve their  living standard.

I also want this. But I think that of itself it will not happen. First you need to upgrade bitcoin so easy to use in everyday life. who will pay bitcoin for food in the restaurant, if the transaction cost will be higher than the cost of the food? Who is going to wait a few hours for a transaction confirmation? Who will pay bitcoins if they are constantly increasing in price?
