I think BBR parted ways with this project a long while ago. Zoidberg is currently working on another project - Zano if you are interested in that. There are also many other CryptoNote forks to choose from like aeon and Masari. If you are looking to diversify, pick your poison.

It's a shame this never came to fruition, but thankfully they came through with Zano. It seems to be as worthy of the slogan "Cryptonote Evolved" as this might have been.
