The Bitcoin recent prices surges are really blowing my mind. Actually I simply cannot believe it. I once thought the $10K price is just a momentarily but the fact is it still holding until now. I believe the ease of use of buying Bitcoin also help bitcoin to growth this high, many newcomers mainly newbie traders just don't realize they buy Bitcoin at this high.

Personally, I believe anything that goes up that fast will have a nasty crash, and I doubt most people will not panic selling, most of them will make bitcoin prices come down deeper.

I know that everyone gets excited when the price is increasing but you should probably think about this twice, those who don't have bitcoin yet, should probably wait a little bit more before buying, just to see how things will go in the upcoming hours/days and as for those who already have bitcoin, If you're hodler and you actually can afford to lose whatever you have then just continue to hodl otherwise, you may think about selling. In the meantime, I suggest reading the post by theymos on Reddit, very useful.

very much agree with you, many my friends feel very happy because BTC prices are increasing because they have had it for a few years ago, and very different from me who can only be silent because unable to buy bitcoin at current price list.

Price for one BTC will reach $50'000 pretty soon. I'd say by April 2018.
For the majority out there and the public there are no alternatives in cryptocurrencies, they only know Bitcoin.

Yes bitcoin price is already going to out of control. Its price increase rapidly and bitcoin users also increase in day by day. Bitcoin is also legal in so many countries and so invest into bitcoin people also increasing. As a result bitcoin price is now out of control.

Seems like the start of trading for bitcoin futures accelerated the price even more. Im really curious where we will see Bitcoin at the end of this month. If this continous like this, 20k might be possible. But also the opposit could happen and we see it on 10k. I still agree with the OP, the price can go anywhere.

It's hard to believe that bitcoin will goes beyond of what we have expected by this year, but we all happy for this. Once you appreciate the inherent value and beauty of Bitcoin, price is not the overiding aspect.

The fact that government and banks cannot stop it or control it, globaly distributed, open source, transparent, and at the same time very secure.

I costs much more to hack a bitcoin than it does to mine it honestly.

The value for sure overpassed the aspectative for this year, so ye is pretty out of control but not that much. The volatility is huge especially for the CME opening of futures, we will see.

I like how They missed thinks and he is right and I invest the way he described but when I started reading I was a bit annoyed then it got better. Just one thing annoyed me. The value is massively increasing as of today and maybe those who did not manage to invest on bitcoins is regreting today because the value is already reaching $20k  and maybe it will really reach before the 2017 ends.

This week it already made a good stand. From high 17500 to a low 13500 and back. I dont expext is to drop under the 10k anymore. Except when BTC gets obsolete and will replaced by anothercoin/or forkclone
