What makes Bitcoin to move this fast?

People are buying it for Christmas gifts. That is my best guess. It explains why the price is rising so much in only Bitcoin and not so much other cryptos. Because most of the investing now is coming from noobs who don't know any better and think the price is going to go above $100,000 already. Nope, it is going to crash hard and very soon... mark my words!

Bitcoin is getting more popular day by day. These days all you hear is how high the price has gone, it rise by $1000 almost everyday. This attracts many people who are afraid they'll miss this hugh chance to get rich.
And there's the whales who are pushing the price up. And the CBOE and CME futures, which are pushing it up even higher. This all creates a snowball, a price that's growing higher and higher.

One of the reason that makes the bitcoin price move that fast is because of its growing demand everyday. As it became more and more popular many people are interested to join to the bitcoin community wherein many opportunity to get rich awaits to all those people from different walks of life regardless to their educational background.

I have heard that some businesses will try to implement bitcoin payment and I think that it contributes to the increasing demand for bitcoin. As soon as one enterprise implemented it, I think others will follow as well and with that the popularity of bitcoin increases again as well as the awareness that such coin exist. The continuous growth in the price of bitcoin also contributes in its popularity and the more the price bubbled up, people will be interested in trusting it for investments.

10K was a number that gave a lot of attention to BTC from the everyday guy. The huge quantity of people jumping in is unbelievable. People trash talking BTC one day are downloading coinbase and try it for 100 or 200 USD. Lot´s of people going in to platforms like E-toro, don´t even knowing if they are buying coins or financial products. Lots of traditional investors pushed in for the awareness that the futures market and platforms like bloomberg are giving BTC. So people are coming from everywhere with bigger or smaller amounts. And the price drives like crazy. Now we are on the verge of 20k and futures entering tomorrow. Interesting week ahead.

There's definitely no economic reason here, since this is a decentralized currency.

There are different reasons why Bitcoin reached such a price right now, and I could only say few since that's pretty much all the reasons I know.

First, is when we talked about investment we're not just talking about 1 ~ 5 Bitcoin here, we are talking about a large amount of it. And who could possibly afford that you say? Its the whales, they're constantly investing their Fiat in Bitcoin as they already know that Bitcoin is the most valuable exchange now in the market. And investing to it would probably make them even more rich, as the demand goes up so does the price (it may sound like economics, but trust me its not).

Probably the second and the last thing, its because of those so called Holders (term for the people who've been holding a specific coin for a long time). This is the time they are going to release that large amount of theirs to gain profit for waiting that very long.

Bitcoin has many properties due to which it is developing very fast and its price is also increasing with the speed of light. It is very hard to say that which property is the best in bitcoin because it has too many properties but the main factor in the rising price of bitcoin is its price because many new people demand for bitcoin daily and thus its importance is also increasing, which lead to the increase in the price of bitcoin.

The demand of bit coin is increasing day by day I think that’s the main reason behind it. I think that’s why bit coin is moving very fast. Another reason behind it is that many countries has lift his ban on bit coin before it bit coin was ban and its trading was considered as a illegal. More people are now investing into bitcoin that is the reason why the price went up that fast in the past days. Maybe right now we are just experiencing some correction that is why the price is hovering in the $13,000 level but I still expect for the price to go beyond $18,000 before the year ends.

Yes, It is just another correction, nothing else. Bitcoin is just getting ready for its next target which is not 18,000 dollars rather 20,000 dollars. I am pretty sure that this coin is going to reach this value by the end of December easily. I think there is no issues in waiting for bitcoin to recover its previous value. This is nothing new for the bitcoin investors to have some light dump before a drastic pump.

We are really just about starting the journey to the moon. I believe this is not fast yet. We have at least seen that bitcoin keeps increasing more in rate and lesser period than we used to experience it before. Demand is increasing daily and we have not even seen anything with respect to demand yet. I believe as we keep going now, we will tend to keep testing new ATHs faster than before.

The cost of a bitcoin is determined by the corresponding demand and supply on the market. When demand on bitcoin increases, the price increases and, when demand falls, the price is also declining.Demand must follow the level of inflation in order to keep the price stable.

As a result, more people are buying bitcoin every time. Also, the fact that it increases the demand of bitcoin makes it's value grow and grow. I think this the reason why.
