Any input would be helpful, I feel like a bit of a moron but I have gotten normal mining pools to work just fine... just not this one.
The pool from your link seems to be a p2pool. It's been a really long time since I used a pool like this, but if I'm not mistaken these p2pools operate differently and one of the practical differences for the miners is that it takes quite a lot of time before you start seeing any payouts. Like 24+ hours. I think I was also supposed to run some kind of node myself, I remember doing it with litecoin or dogecoin years ago.. you don't just point your miner to the pool's address, you were also supposed to run a node or something on your end as well in order for all this to work. Maybe it's changed during all the years and it's not necessary anymore, I don't know. Anyway, the point is that since it's a p2pool you need to learn how it works, do a google search on them, they don't operate the same way as most other pools do.
Edit: no, I guess it's not necessary to run your own node with p2pool, it's just the thing I was doing myself back in the day. The software was free and easy to install, so instead of pointing my rigs at someone else's node, I was just running my own. Still, the payout system is different compared to "regular" pools.
