I am from the Philippines. Philippines is one of the most beautiful country in the world. In terms of sceneries, we have a lot of it like Coron in Puerto Princesa Palawan which is one of the seven wonders of the world, perfect cone-shaped Mayon Volcano and many more. People from the Philippines is known to be hospitable and humble. Filipinos are very good in adapting new languages. People there are very smart and strategic.
Philippines is also known as the Pacific Ring of Fire.

Philippines is one of a beautiful country in the world it has 7100 island that you can actually visit or travel and it is a good destination for travelers it has Manny beautiful places like plawan chocolate hills and etc  you will enjoy traveling in this country and this is one of a tourist spot and they also have different Filipino foods that you can eat.

It is a pretty cool country. The first thought that comes to mind is the recent siege in the city of Marawi. Glad they managed to retake the city.

The first thing that comes in my mind when i hear the word Philippines is beach. There are lots of beaches in the Philippines that can be proud of. Tourists spots with a very relaxing view of sea especially during sunrise 'n sunset. I love the ocean so i dream of having a vacation with no phones and internet, just the beach, me and my husband. Yes, i know traffic and all but i know it will all be worth it. Just imagine yourself having a coffee on a hammock tied between two coconut trees, side b side with your husband, cool breeze while watching the sunset or the sunrise.

I have heard that the Filipinos are very friendly people. I would like to visit Philippines one day. But there are a few irritants with that plan. There are very few direct flights from India to Philippines. On top of that, there is no visa on arrival facility for Indian nationals. It is a hassle to get a Filipino tourist visa, at least when compared to those from Thailand and Singapore.

What are my thoughts about this country? To copy Jason Mraz, it's "a beautiful mess." Undoubtedly, it has an alluring natural beauty. Whether you love the view from the top of a mountain (sea of clouds, fields of colorful vegetation, sparkling waters) or the chill vibe of an island (towering coconut trees, white fine sand, cerulean waves, vibrant sunsets), you'll find your home in one of the 7,100++ islands. Filipinos are generally warm-hearted and cheerful. Alongside such scenes are of course turmoil in different forms. Dirty politics, corruption, poverty, rebellion.

To tie back in to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, I do think that decentralized currencies can bring something new to the country. It could decentralize wealth or at least give the lower middle class a chance. It could help government agencies prevent corrupt practices and red tape. The key is education and technological access for all. There's hope for this country.

I'd like to think so because I live in it.

Because of the tourist spots that are popular here like the banaue rice terraces, pagsanjan falls, taal lake, etc. Many tourist visited to explore the beauty of our nature. Population density is quite high. But you should also remember that the vast majority of the population is concentrated in the urban areas and there are lots of forested land remaining. Islands such as Palawan still retains a lot of biodiversity. I just hope that the government will limit immigration to these areas and protect them from encroachment.
