Is VISA MB or VISA WK from mbank?
I guess VISA MB, but in the first post is mentioned that VISA WK has problems!?

VISA WK used to be the only one that could be blocked.
Now there is a massive blocking of VISA MB because some people abused the system.
I recently ordered about 20 VISA MB cards and I still haven't used one of them because I don't want to have my money blocked.
I'll wait for mBank to stop blocking arbitrary.

mBank is scamming people! Forget the abuses theory.

They are deliberately keeping money from people outside Poland because they know that most people won't fly to Poland just to visit their branches.

I think so: one of my VISA MB EUR cards has just been blocked (the one with more than 500 euros in it. The others are with their credit already spent almost completely and I was on the point of reloading them, but at this point I don't think that is advisable to load them).

On the website it says:

Card status: Active

but a transaction has been just refused by a shop.

Mateo has left the sinking ship. His last login was 5 days ago, his last post 8 days ago.

Maybe he's doing something to try to fix this but the lack of updates doesn't favor him.

I just received my card today, and plan to use it in the next month or 2, so I'll update with how it goes. As far as delivery and support, mateo helped with all my questions and delivery was quick and packaged well.

Can't buy or withdraw on ATM
Can only receive money.

so this is the old scam already seen here of getting people's money no questions asked and then asking them to jump into any sort of hoops as a condition to giving it back.

I contacted Mateo on August, 3 and on the next day he provided me all required information about these cards and their using with Paypal. On August, 15 I sent him payment for my VISA MB PLN card (using bitcoins). On August, 17 Mateo told me that it would be safer if he just send me a card by regular (=paper) mail (I wanted card info by email + physical card). I asked him if he could send me only card info. On August, 21 Mateo respond to my email (it took him 5 days), and told me that he is no longer allowed to send cards digitally and asked for my post address (which I provided in the first letter to him, in case if he can only send regular letter with card). Ok, I told him that he can use my address from the first letter to send me the card. He told me that he would send me a message when card would be sent. And that was the last day I have received a letter from him (August 21). Hi didn't respond neither to my email from August, 23 nor to my email from August, 26.

25 pages with excellent feedbacks and I'm the first buyer, who is complaining. It's a shame.

Good news - I have verified my Paypal account and lift limits by using VCC from other seller (just for $20).

If not it was expensive. You can get that for $10

AVS - Address Verification System

AVS-VCCs are only required for US and UK accounts.

If your account is in another country you paid too much for the VCC. That's what he/she was saying and I agree.

Was keeping track of this thread for a while, was curious how long they would work.
That said assuming its not politically related perhaps its time to open a Scam accusation thread?

As for the bank, yeah, they're requiring full KYC compliance now to unblock the cards that have been blocked.

Could you please enquire how full KYC can be done without visiting them in person? That's a very unreasonable request, even since they asked nothing to get our money.
Alternatively how can the funds in blocked cards be recovered?
