seeing the current price and growth rate of bitcoin it seems so it will happen,if not by jan 1 but at end of jan it will definitely ,just wondering how far its price can go till the end of quarter of 2018,bitcoin will touching new heights and even people who invested now are going to be in great profit.

when I saw bitcoin today on CNN I was seriously happy because I think bitcoin is now attracting mainstream media and I am happy that this is happening in our time. January 2018 is already here and we expect bitcoin to go as high as $20,000 before end of this year. I have been speculating that we would be talking about $25,000 by January this year and this will be achievable by the grace of God.  I have been holding some of my coins since January this year and I know what there are worth now and getting to $20,000 is a great improvement to me.

I think it will correct hugely but by no means is that a crash for me. A crash implies something negative happened or that the value will lose 50%+ in a short while which again I don't think will happen. I think it is possible for bitcoin to hit 10k perhaps within a few weeks as a major correction but aside from that I don't think we will have a crash. Bitcoin will likely gain back all the value in a short while because on that correction you know there will be a ton of people willing to snap up the price point 10k.

I don't think price will fall as we have experienced a correction recently. A correction which didn't last long as supply could not exceed demand very much. Bitcoin price dropped to 13000 dollar from 18000 dollar. That was correction and now the price is rising again and it's the real price.

Price of bitcoin will be with fluctuations for a longer time period. This too is an indication that price will grow soon without any corrective factors. With the ongoing growth happening in an unified manner along with altcoins, expect the $20000 to be reached by the end days of the present year.

I believe that we will see the price continue to increase even in 2018. Though there will be some corrections and it will occur occasionally. Corrections are always there whenever the price increases so it is inevitable. I know that the bullish run of Bitcoin will not end that early. Bitcoin has just started to run. Crazy is even an understatement. The current value has shown us so far that anything can happen in the bitcoin world. We have 21million units that would be in supply and so many people want to at least be a part of it. Moreover, I am sure we will have some major ups and downs but that becomes something that tends to the positive as bitcoin keeps gaining more grounds and the level of adoption keeps increasing.

We all should believe that it is not hype and even though so many people may feel otherwise, corrections are a normal thing after a long rush in. We have had some quite major corrections still right now $20k even seems a solid base for bitcoin rather than call it a crazy run.

In the total 21 Million units 16.75 units are already mined which mean they are either with the exchanges directly or bought by the people. We only have 4.25 million bitcoin to mine, look at the large number of people who are waiting anxiously to be a bitcoin owner. The number of people demanding for bitcoin is increasing on daily basis. I'm not sure whether the price will hit $20k by january 1st but it's not going to crash either. The price is going to AT LEAST increase to $20k before any major corrections taking place, in my opinion. Not going to be any sooner than that.

Right now we're just on the way to $20k or more, thus you see virtually no change in price in the past few days.

Though if there are negative news coming out before the new year, it could effect the price a little bit. In that case, we'll need some more time to hit $20k, but it'll still happen.
