Maybe we have to wait until Turing-complete smart contract to be added to this Super Bitcoin, which is scheduled on March 31, 2018.

I cant complain. I was looking for something risky to mine since I have very little hash and found it in sbtc.  I figure Ill mine it until the end of march then either profit, or mine something else and cut my losses...

There are many factors contributing to the dip, we are not going to list them all here, as you can find them on the net.

riiiiiight, it would have been just as quick to just say it rather than your lame response.

Im guessing it is because it is a new coin so people dont have the faith in it compared to other older coins, that and the lack of any word from the devs (other than the occasional tweet it seems) doesnt help.

As far as "you can find them on the net"  that could be said about ANY question anyone could ever have.  The answer is definitely not a quick google away though (believe me I looked before asking). unless its in Chinese that is as I didnt randomly start translating stuff.

Only came to see if there was a serious update or at the very least, an announcement and behold I found none. Clearly this is another pump group playing pranks with this coin. More than 1000% gain in less than 20 Minutes

I agree with this analysis, I have looked at several altcoin recently released where a lot of advertising was made of that in retrospect were all looking forward to steal people their money they work in whole groups 1st people who make the fake coins 2nd people who make the advertising 3rd the people of the exchange where the fake coins are traded

I would say do not let profits make you blind, open your eyes !! there are many scammers at work !!

download the wallet from their official github

https://github.com/superbitcoin/SuperBitcoin/releases

install on your computer, sync the blockchain (maybe 100 GB harddisk space or more needed)

then you can just import your private key (which contains BTC at the time of fork)

All that pump and dump shitty forks are absolutely worthless. Look at the charts https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/super-bitcoin/

i dont know if there is a light wallet available
but i dont expect they will develope a wallet like that,
they already rich, maybe, and have no interest to develope this forked coin anymore ..

the only solution i can think about is just to rent a vps and install the wallet there,
then import your private key, send your claimed SBTC to exchange and sell quickly.

at least you can claim your free money  Grin
if that worthed the effort

does this also work if my coins lay on a segwit adress at the time of the fork?
