Choose Ethereum, Ethereum's price is increasing and stable. Ripple is also the Top Altcoins but the value is low but also stable.
Ehtereum still deserve to be invested due to it's stability and scalability.
Although they're both Top Altcoins but still Ethereum is the clear winner when it comes into profit.

Ethereum. People nowadays are dumping their Altcoins. But Ethereum cannot be dropped due to it's stability. Ethereum has many platforms and a very large community. No regrets.  |

If I were you I would not try to choose the only one of them but invest in them both. Nobody knows what will be even tomorrow. So we need to reduce our risks with the diversifying.

I dont think you should even consider ripple, to be honest. Its a centralized coin and their tokens are not needed for the transactions between banks, which means they might be worthless in the future. Because of this i would pick ethereum to invest.

I chose Ethereum because I don't understand know how the value of XRP will go up if what all banks do is use XRP only for remittances
Banks use Ripple only for remittances and they are not required to use XRP for it and once transactions are received I think XRP will be converted back to Fiat so how will this impact to raise prices?

Ripple is a company and XRP is it's currency please understand this information. Bankers are using Ripple's technology and not XRP coin itself. XRP has no use as banks can create their own currency on ripple platform which is open source.
By using this factor I think Ethereum is better than XRP.

Do research before you buy anything, in the cryptocurrency wold hearing the other people's answers your ask is not enough to understand. But in my experience, I have to prefer invest in ethereum, certainly if you want to invest in ethereum you must invest for long term.
