I am not a big fan of Ethereum, but if I need to chose one between ETH and XRP, then I would chose Ethereum. Ripple looks like a scam to me, and it is supported by quite a few of the major banks and fraudsters. Ethereum is not perfect, but at least it is better than Ripple.
Yes even from beginning am not supporting xrp even I won’t because I don’t want to give again power back to centralised authorities . Supporting ripple is like allowing centralised and whales fool normal people . It shouldn’t happen . |

The most popular coin of the market is now ripple. The crypto market is very moving. there are constant money in and out. ripple has risen but can never rival for eth.

In terms of market share of both coins is the same as having a good development. My suggestion is better you choose Ethereum because Ethesyum often reaches stable price.

I want to buy some coins. Which is the better to buy now ethereum or ripple?
Ethereum seems to be good to buy everytime because of the smart contract features which will always be in demand and you also know that we all need ethereum for any transaction fee of a tokens i e it will also be in large demand in future as many start creating more valuable and good use case tokens like medichain... |

I would suggest you to invest 70% of your money in Ethereum and invest the rest in Ripple. Personally, I would do that if I had to choose between these two.
Exactly what I have done! Go Ethereum first and following by Ripple. When Ethereum Casper update complete, you will see ETH price go to the moon!! |

Ethereum obviously, but you cannot completely miss out ripple. I will suggest you to put 60% of money in ethereum and 40% in ripple. XRP is good technology but the inflation rate scares me.

I think token etherium is better,
and I see token etherium fans more than ripples. while the current ripple is very unstable in the graphic image on the stock.

ETH seems safer according to Russia's statement about the cryptocurrency. Ripple has bigger risks but also the potential to make you more money in short time. Anyway, getting 50%- 50% is always my solution in this cases, but the bucket should not have more than 5 different coins, I guess.  |

as a cryptocoin lover, ripple itself is against the logic of cryptocurrency... ripple is supported by banking system and it is against Decentralization
since it is a coin of banking system, i believe its price will increase
eth itself is one of my favorite coin for long term, and after Putin's statement about cyrpto, wind will below for eth

I prefer ethereum, i dont really believe on ripple. even if there is a lot of people that ripple is a good altcoin, i dont buy it even if other's see potential on it.
i invested more on ethereum that ripple.
As for me, I believe that Ripple will work and it will be used for a long time, but I simply do not take it as a real altcoin. This is a centralized crypto that is why my choice is Ethereum. No doubt, it will be only growing. |

never invest your investment in any one or even 2 coins, it is not safe!!! Read articles about diversification and you will understand everything. As for the topic I think that you need to have in the portfolio of both these coins.

Ethereum for short term and ripple for the long run,do some research mate so you would undestand what to buy.
I believe the ETH price will increase soon, but that does not mean the ripple will not be good. If you have a lot of money, I highly recommend ETH. If you have only a modest amount of money, ripple will be the better choice to get more benefits Good luck |

But I don't think there a more money to me made in short time with Ripple. I don't think Ripple will increase so quick as it did in December. |

Is it possible to choose neither? Lol all jokes aside I would choose Ethereum any day of the week over Ripple, I don't even care what the prices are. I care more about the fundamental technology that is present here which is much more important than the price.
