Also I'd be interested as to how the new blockchain is related to the old, eg if a manual coinswap action is performed, how are the new replacement coins generated?  Thanks!

As the current supply is around 1.5 million, I'm guessing the post-swap supply will be near 12 million?  Will be interesting to see what it actually is though, given the lost coins in the past.

I believe that when the swap begins, enough coins will be minted in the case that if 100% of the supply was swapped, there would be no problem.  As this won't be the case, then any leftover coins afterwards will be burned, so there is no 'premine', so to speak (no extra coins kept).

Can somebody help me with understanding why my VPS MN is not generating stake?

When I configured cold walet (local walet) with VPS mastemode then I gor regular stake then I move wallet to the VPS.  I sent 500.000 Craves I sucesfully started VPS masternode but I'm not getting any stake  - for 20 hours just 0.00000 when I use getinfo subcommand.
My MN is onn the MN's list - reportin on time and public key address.
getinfo after 15 hours:
"balance" : 500.00000000,
    "darksend_balance" : 0.00000000,
    "newmint" : 0.00000000,
    "stake" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 964486,

I have confirmation: "Masternode successfully started".

Your both conf files are pretty much the same and they are ok.
As I can see, you didnt use the cold wallet method since your VPS wallet has a non zero balance (showing "balance" : 500.00000000). If your mn is on list without a 00:00 time then its active and its working. Rewards are totally random so you aren't lucky for the moment

I'm a newbie and I have 1000 CRAVE.  Can you walk me through the steps of how this swap is going to occur.  Is there like a escrow service that will ensure we don't lose our coins.  I'm very skeptical and would probably just sell my coins before the swap.  I rather make some money instead of the possibility of losing 100% of my hard earned money. 

Also, by increasing the supply, will that cause the price to deflate as well?

I Wonder if stakeing is dependent on VPS CPU power?
I got 1 core with 2 GB RAM. On hybrid COLD / VPS reward works ideally - 0.666 CRAVE every few hours.

Is the 10 to 1 coin swap going to increase the market cap by 10, therefore giving people a 10x return on the coin overnight or will the new coins be worth 1/10 of the original?

Im looking at PivX masternode and their 5% pa reward.

When i look at zcoin and Solaris and other privacy masternode coins, they get up in to the 40% raange. You guys are in the 80% range (if i am not mistaken)

Can you explain to me how this is a sustainable inflation rate?
