Two days ago I attempted to withdraw my Bitcoin funds from Bitfinex. Since then, my Bitcoins are completely locked up at Bitfinex.
It says : Withdraw approved December 07, 2017 22:58. It is now queued for processing and will complete soon (subject to spending limits of the account).
And I can NOT cancel it, there is no button.
I already submitted a ticket yesterday but no response.

Anybody else experiencing problems like that?

No, I don't think so.
I had withdrawn bigger amounts of Bitcoin many times before and I never have had this issue before.
In the Withdrawal Settings I don't see any limits.

is it because of the btc fees / slow confirmations?

Do other cryptos withdraw work?

If so, maybe exchange to other crypto then use another exchanger to get the btc

As I said, there is no Cancel button. I cannot convert to other currency.

Just now I see this announcement at Bitfinex when going into the Withdrawing page:
Quote
Please be aware that withdrawals are currently backlogged. The current extraordinary demand for deposits and withdrawals exceeds what the wallets and staff can immediately process. Resources are being added to improve delays. In the meantime, withdrawals may take more than 24 hours to complete. Canceling pending withdrawals and resubmitting them will only cause more delays. Thank you for your patience.

This makes me nervous, maybe they do not have the Bitcoins. This could have happen because their Bitcoin liquidity pool got emptied the days before when Bitcoins prizes went parabolic and everyone bought Bitcoin.

Check their cold storage wallet https://blockchain.info/address/3D2oetdNuZUqQHPJmcMDDHYoqkyNVsFk9r and their hot wallet https://blockchain.info/address/1Kr6QSydW9bFQG1mXiPNNu6WpJGmUa9i1g and rethink that statement...

Well I said "maybe".
These are nice balances on that addresses. But how do I know that these are Bitfinex's addresses? If they are, I am somewhat comforted.

did your account verify or not? because if I see between verified account and free account, the response from them is faster for the verified account. so if your account is not yet verified, I suggest to you to verify your account first. and if you decide to use free account then I suggest to you to withdraw small money at once until you reach your withdraw daily limit.

but for these situations, I only can suggest to you to wait until they answer your ticket and you need to be patient for this.

Quickseller described a few things that can hold up withdrawals.

There are however a few things that can cause delays in withdrawing BTC from your bitfinex account. I have noticed that if you request one withdrawal and then request a second withdrawal prior to approving the first one (via the link you receive from them via email) then the 2nd withdrawal will take a long time to process.

If you are attempting to withdraw in excess of 200BTC in a 24 hour period, then any withdrawal that puts you over the 200BTC limit will take a long time to be processed because they need to be approved by an admin. I

This quote is no longer accurate. This was when bitfinex was using BitGo, which they stopped using after the August 2016 hack. They are now using a traditional hot/cold wallet setup. M
I understand the withdrawal delays are in relation to malicious actors depositing small amounts over many hundreds of deposits, forcing bitfinex to consolidate inputs (thousands) in order to process withdrawals. I also understand that likely the same actors are requesting many very small withdrawals bumping up against the limits of what their wallet software can handle.

It is possible whoever is behind this is wanting to force bitfinex to create many very large transactions causing blockchain bloat. It is also possible the entity behind this is the same entity who is behind the year long smear attacks on bitfinex, likely a competitor.

I had one transaction with IOTA withdrawals around a month back but that was well documented on their part. However as far as i can remember i had a cancel button so i could have cancelled my transaction any time and still get my iota back into my balance.

These things happen once a while, though. Dunno what causes them specifically.

If your withdrawal is a large one then they may hold it up for prolonged periods of time for sure. They state this somewhere, i can't remember but basically in this case either your account limist have been exceeded and/or the hot wallet is empty, and since your withdrawal is so large they need to process this manually.

Wait for your support response. It could take a while though.
