of course keep holding it,
for me $20.000 is not its real value yet,of course it will only happen if we can see an improvement and development on it.
reaching $20.000 is a small matter for them because they can push the price from $10.000 to $18.000 in a week time,
but they did not do that right now(pushing the price to around $20.000 directly),they're afraid it will affect Bitcoin growth in a long run.
well even though right now Bitcoin is overbought,
it does not matter because Bitcoin still has a lot potential await it in the future.
also if we're successfully listed on CME group's later on,i think the demand for Bitcoin itself will be increase a lot.
plus if we're successfully listed on other place in Q1 2018 just like what rumour said,
i believe it's just matter of time for Bitcoin to surpass this level and moving toward to another level.

Keep holding since I don't have a set goal once we reach that price.
I'm sure a lot of people will sell since the 20k mark will significate a big profit margin, but we know from past experiences that the price will continue to rise so for me, there's no reason to sell, I'll keep my coins safe and wait for new ATHs.

Hodling is the only possible way every investor is doing right now, even the newer investors got the idea of bitcoin still in a bullish state, or if not in the future the price will surely surge a lot, and nobody can stop it from gaining even higher value and we can definitely see from the history chart on how bitcoin really pump from nothing to the value now of bitcoin.

To sell bitcoin, you need only in extreme cases when there is not enough Fiat on everyday life. It will be even then when the price of bitcoin will be $ 50,000. I know that maybe it would be tentative to just withdraw all your coins when the price reaches that price (and we are not so far away from that)

I would also consider it, but i dont know, i will probably keep holding all my bitcoins until it reaches $50k at least.

I have no particular target in mind, if you told me that bitcoin would take a year to reach 20k then I'd be quite happy with that. In fact I feel like it will be in the next 6 weeks some time but we will see. It's important not to have particular targets etc in mind as that will only lead to dissapointment.

I will rephrase it to "what is my plan when bitcoin price reacheed $20,000".

First of all, reaching that is another achievement. Now let's take note of why bitcoin price reached that level (if ever). Surely it was a continous demand so the trend that time will be uptrend. Since no signs of price crash or even a little dip, it's more reasonable to just hodl my coins.

But above all of that, if you considered your bitcoin as long term investment, then you will disregard any kinds of trends whether price increase or decrease since all you need to do is to keep your precious coins. Risky after all but that is worth to give a shot.

One of the world's leading bitcoin advocates has joined regulators in warning that investors could be left empty-handed if a "straightforward grassroots bubble" bursts because the technology underpinning it could buckle in a sudden rush for the exit.

Regulators said they were watching on in horror as unprotected investors continued pouring money into the cryptocurrency, which traded above $25,000 on Friday, and were powerless to to do anything about it.

This was despite four central bank governors this week describing the soaring bitcoin price a bubble, interventions that made virtually no difference to the price.

In the last month the price of bitcoin has risen 77 per cent to $US17,191 a coin; up 1,671 per cent so far in 2017.

"What we're seeing is a straightforward grassroots bubble driven by speculation and greed," said Andreas M. Antonopoulos, author of Mastering Bitcoin and The Internet of Money, on Friday afternoon.

"Given so many new participants know very little about the technology, that's even more dangerous as they are taking on a serious amount of risk.

"And as such, the added congestion means bitcoin is not currently functioning as originally designed."

$20000 is already my target price to sell all of what I have right now and after that I won't look back after a few months. It's already been a crazy ride for me since 2013 and I think I've had enough and wouldn't want to risk more until I'm certain on where would this market go. If the beginning of 2018 look promising, I'd probably forget about my $20000 target and hold until the bitter end. I could also diversify if I want to and hopefully gain some more profit on the way.

I think when bitcoin hit $20,000 I will sell 5% of my current holding because it price then will be drag by the bull and the bear and I don't want to regret at that point. I have be hoping that bitcoin should get to $20,000 before 2018 and hopefully this happen by next week. If bitcoin get to  $20,000 it should be then we would see bitcoin as a blessing.

What's the use, random targets and prediction based on charts or without them doesn't provide the right answer, you'll just create a mindset in your mind and when things work out otherwise, people tend to get obsessed and depressed too. I will withdraw some(50%) of it and leave the remaining(50%), by investing into more altcoins(with 10%) holding the rest in bitcoin. Cause taking all is not the best and there is a strong possibility that the price will continue to rise.
