Following the linux documentation and doing everything properly I run into this error:

/xdag -m 5 -d 109.90.229.170:35585

-bash: /xdag: No such file or directory

Needs to start with a period:

./xdag -m 5 -d 109.90.229.170:35585

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Hi

Sorry. But How can I withdraw the coin?

I want to use the coins - exchange it to USD or WITHDRAW it from the wallet to CRYPTOPIA.CO.NZ for example

If you are mining, it goes straight into your wallet. There's no withdrawing from anything.

its only based on cpu-cores and Hyperthreading cores. add this numbers, subtract 1. thats your number.
I7 950 - 4 cores 4 HT =8 - 1 =7
I5 2430 2cores 2 HT = 4 - 1 =3
C2D 2 cores no HT = 2 -1 =1

for better calculation you could choose cache size and divide it by 2MB (what comes out again -1)

Thank you for this helpful info. I was underutilizing my cpu cores until I saw your post.

yobo: it looks like the alias isn't working for some reason (meaning typing 'xdag' ins't doing anything). forgot how to get that to work but you can start xdag instead by typing ./xdag -i

I think that there is a special group in Discord for selling and buying. Also there is a topic here, on forum with trade opportunities. XDAG is not yet listed on exchanges, 'cause this new, experimental coin project needs time to develop and mature. But you can still sell coins (I would not suggest you because price will be low still - it's absolutely up to you). If you do not know how to transfer coin you just need to read this forum thread from the beginning.

So the name of this coin changed from CheatCoin to Dagger? If that's true, I think Dagger it's better.

Is there any guides how to get wallet running and start mining?

dagger.global

I think Dagger is a great name, with symbol: xdag

Hey everyone

There is a discord for discussing DAG coins in general, with privacy concept and feasability, if you'd like to join.

https://discord.gg/auFsMSD

See ya

hi, guys, which is the best yield pool?

All should be similar, just get one.
You will start receiving payments after ~30 minutes of mining

Friends!

Congratulations from me! We are 10 days online.  Grin

New list of pools is available on my site: http://cheatcoin.atwebpages.com/_gallery_.html

Pools! Add please all these pools (and my reserve pool 52.5.32.68:13654 too) to your whitelist. Just modify the file netdb-white.txt in your work folder. No pool restart is needed.

Thank you for good job!  Cheesy

Thank you to you too!
This is growing very fast btw
