How much is the max supply of XDAG ?

about 4 Billion

Everybody is telling this number but forgetting one... well... somehow important detail. Those coins will be all mined in about 150 years. So read the forum from the beginning. Nothing changed in xdag, except name what is matter of choice of the community.

it's 516mil each year, getting halved each 4 years.
so after 4 years it will be 213mil each year and so on.
and it will obviously be 516mil by the end of this year. so you can think of that number as "supply" due to the fact this coin is so young.

Try to connect back to the pool where you last saw your correct amount. I ran into this after upgrading from version T13.654-T13.818 to T13.654-T13.819
Before upgrading, as mentioned here in the forum several times... you must save the files-- wallet.dat and dnet_key.dat as well as the storage folder.

Once i upgraded....i tried connecting to cheatoshin's new pool 213.168.251.23:13654 from his old one 52.5.32.68:13654

I was able to view balance (currently cannot view ) my balance was 1/5 of what it should of be.

For the sole reason, since i had saved  wallet.dat  dnet_key.dat  storage folder into another directory,

i deleted wallet.dat  dnet_key.dat and storage folder inside of directory cheatcoin/cheatcoin/

I then moved the saved files from another directory into cheatcoin/cheatcoin

went back to the pool i last saw the correct amount. it was there. hope that helps

Thanks for the response. Please allow me to ask more layman questions... Actually I think it would be great if you can add a picture to the document showing DAG chain in design and the relationship between main blocks and their children TX blocks through the 3 layer of block linkage.
One picture saves thousands of words.  Wink
When do you plan to enable/enforce the TX fee? What is your biggest concern for enabling TX fee? and you have mentioned the decentralized linking of each TX block, will the server/node be always incentivized to behave in favorable way?

Hi, I am new to this project and the DAG based crypto in general.

In the whitepaper, I read

Ideas

Each block contains exactly one transaction. At the same time, the block is an address. Among all transactions, the main chain is allocated - it is a chain with the maximum difficulty. In the main chain, new coins are created about once a minute.

Can someone can explain to me how this "main chain" of DAG network is determined, and the mechanism of coin generation. Is this done completely through algorithm, or manually selected by human operators - something similar to the witness nodes of byteballs? thanks.

completely through algorithm, coins generated in each main blocks

its only based on cpu-cores and Hyperthreading cores. add this numbers, subtract 1. thats your number.
I7 950 - 4 cores 4 HT =8 - 1 =7
I5 2430 2cores 2 HT = 4 - 1 =3
C2D 2 cores no HT = 2 -1 =1

for better calculation you could choose cache size and divide it by 2MB (what comes out again -1)
