Hi to all! Current state.

1. Missing files win32 and winsrc reuploaded.
2. Known pools are listed on the Download page on the site http://cheatcoin.atwebpages.com. If you know another pool, please tell me.
3. To run the miner you just need choose the pool and connect to it. The guide is on the Download page. No running full node or sync is needed.
4. Today-tomorrow there will be new version for both Windows/Linux with support of password on the wallet and so called state (or status or statut) command.
5. In few days there will be simple GUI light wallet for Windows based on the miner. Note that miner can transfer the money.
6. Start of the main net is planned to Jan 5th 10:45 pm GMT as was stated.

So I did the following steps:

from http://cheatcoin.atwebpages.com/_gallery_.html downloaded win64exe.zip
unzipped to ..Documents\CheatCoin\win64exe
opened command prompt
located folder ...Documents\CheatCoin\win64exe
typed: "cheatcoin.exe -m 1 199.16.31.96:3355"
hit Enter
Then I entered random phrase and hit Enter
Message showed "Generating host keys... OK"
Then it asked for Type command

Given these steps, I would think that the miner is up and running. However, in the folder it generated a text file called "Cheatcoin" and shows the following error message

What did I do wrong?

When I type "balance" in command line it still shows 0.00000 after some time. Doesn't seem like the miner is running. Any help is greatly appreciated.

1) Passwords. One can set a password on wallet at first run of the program. The files wallet.dat and dnet_keys.dat will be encrypted by this password. Also one will be prompted to enter the password to perform each transfer. Password may be empty. There are no way to restore the forgotten password.

I recommend not using the name "cheatcoin". Like one user stated, cheat is not a positive vibe from a coin, at least in english. I can think of som enames to use instead if you're open to suggestions. Maybe I could draft a logo too

Try again to 52.5... and write your command line and the tail of the file cheatcoin.log.

I try but the command "state" always say "Trying to connect to the testnet pool.". I tried 52.5.32.68 on port 13564 and 13655 (i find this on the file netdb-testnet.txt).
If i try the command "miners" i see one miner up, but the command "balance" tell me to use the command "state"...

Port should be 13654, not 13564 or 13655, see on the Downloads page on the site.

Curious. What is the privacy level of this coin in comparison to say Monero? I'm thinking to get tracked they'd have to link your ip address to an xfer?

question: when i start on pool 1 the program asks for password and displays correct amount of coins, when i connect to another pool, no password is asked and i get a new adress and my old coins are gone. only one wallet file is in program-dir. whats wrong? do the pools not sync? Why does the program not ask for Password and use my former adress for further mining? That would mean i have to stick to one pool and if it dies for any reason my balance would be gone?!

And please give an advice if i want to run a pool, what ports do i have to forward in my router?

ok... i run from same dir, just different batch to start... one time the proggi asks for password, the other one on different pool does not ask...

currently trying to setup a pool, its syncing right now.
