Well, let's discuss. Gold - Trust, Dollar - Trust, Bitcoin - Trust, but Cheatcoin - real money for real darknet cheaters. This is a joke. As far as I understand, one of the meanings of the word "cheater" is a smart gamer or a programmer. I meant it.

In English the word cheater is a negative. This is the dictionary definition:

Cheater: a person who acts dishonestly in order to gain an advantage

At the moment I, Daniel Cheatoshin, are the only developer. My personality is hidden. Other voluntary developers are welcome. I'll try to make a website, at least temporarily, where one could download the programs and where the description of the protocol will be laid out. As for marketing, until the project is a non-profit, ICO is not planned, so it's too early to talk about marketing.

As for the technical plan for the near future, it is
1. Check the functionality of the existing full node on the test network. Here I need the help of volunteers. I have only 6 of my full nodes, but I would like a few dozen.
2. Make a full node for Windows in command line mode
3. Make a temporary site on a free hosting server. Lay out there a description of the protocol and the program for download.
4. Make a simple Qt-based front-end for Linux, Windows, Android.

For the near future, mining is planned on CPU only. Developers for GPU miner are welcome.

Dev, it seems to me a promising project with no profit interests at the time, could become a gem, but my question is why the name Cheatcoin?

Note* I write about projects that can do something for society. Now whether this will happen depends not on me, but on the project team. I'm just a writer... DYOR

and there is less informations in the OP too,, seems scary to me  Shocked

OP it's me? I do not want to disclose my personality, not because I hide something, but because I do not want to draw attention to my person and personalize the coin. I saw how Buterin was scolded on the stock exchanges when the Ethereum rate fell, but no one scolded Satoshi.

OP is the original post. The first post on the thread. You need not say anything personal about yourself, people are only asking for all the relevant info on the coin

What is 50k? It's a used disk space, or network bandwidth or maybe mined amount?

my balance. Should be around 60k now

project projects in the form of blockchain actually much in demand
but more dev focus on projects like this
it will increase the weight of competition
with methods and programs that have advantages
I am sure that will be the hallmark of this project

Is your system time synchronized with GMT?
I see in the log that some host produces blocks with great time diff (approximately 8 hours). You can see it in the tail of your cheatcoin.log.
Of course, one can play with time difference, but the difficulty algorithm protects the whole system from this cheat.)

It must be me.
I fixed the time yesterday manually with the date command as it would not start syncing at all otherwise.
I checked just now and it's off again. Maybe it's something wrong with my linux VM on a microsoft Hyper-V guest. The time won't stay accurate.

I took the node down. I'll try to fix the time problem permanently when I can

Looking interesting but the ASIC-friendly algo is too bad imo.

Not your keys, not your coins!

I support this project and dev, and today's coins are almost simple copy and paste, with few innovations. Keep up the great work.

I have been running a node with the new source for about a day now.
I was careful with date and time, it's correct.
Already I have a balance of over 300000 coins.

Tell me, is that balance only about coins on the main chain or from all the blocks. Main chain is about 25% of total blocks it seems.
