I have lost hope in ETHEREUM - Pending transaction won't complete

Well the situation is definitely very disappointing, I think there should be a mechanism to improve the transaction speed during network congestion’s, if eth aims to be the biggest and best block chain they should also provide hassle free service for the masses.

yesterday I saw ethereum price around $420 and today the price going up around $485.

Probably because people can not deposit their ETHs on the exchanges, that's why it grows. I for some reason thought that the price should again roll back to $300 because of obvious problems in the network.

Well the exchange I hatched my eth out of said I cannot cancel the transaction myself as it is from their cold wallet. They will see they said if their devs can cancel all eth transactions, if they do that then I don't mind paying the higher transaction fee, but having like 2k USD stuck and not having access to it at present is very frustrating, just because miners are too greedy to process our pending transactions. I am so pissed off with both the miners and that shitty cryptokitty site which I hope gets dossed to oblivion for causing all this havoc on the rest of us, rant over and out.

It can be a huge problem if you didnt follow recent events and you dont set fee higher than 50 gwei since the transaction will get stuck for a really long time.

That is totally insane. Wasn't one reason they touted cryptos the easy of use? Safe, cheap and fast transactions?
If a mere cat game is able to disrupt the technology of a certain coin, people need to stay away from said coin.
I do not want to shill for Stellar Lumens, but when I read that the technology behind die Stellar is able to handle one billion transactions in real time and for almost free of charge (a fraction of a cent) I said to myself: This is the future. This is what customers are looking for.

you can fix that pending transaction by making another transactions and increasing the gas fee by 60 t0 100 gwei.
    if you want to just cancel your pending transactions just sent 0 eth with a gas price ranging from 60 to 100 gwei.

I know that their are other alternatives to solve the problem.  Slowing down of the system nowadays has affected transactions but this is natural since it is now year end and a time for folding transactions.

This is just a temporary issue it will be resolved in some days because there are more number of ethereum transactions happening so there me not enough miners to confirm our transaction.But don't think it is the end of ethereum we knows the ethereum is good potential coin so the price of ethereum will bump in the coming years.
Next time try to send your transaction with higher gas limit so your transaction will not pending for some days.

Cats are now everywhere in ETH's blockchain, and neither the ERC20 TOKEN nor the ETH itself can transfer money. ETH Foundation should not think about how to solve the congestion problem after the next blockage it? I think this is very important.

Mining Ethereum is very energy consuming. After we saw growth in profitability cryptonight many miners switched to this algorithm. Perhaps this explains the fact that the network of Ethereum, there is great delay. I don't remember. But this does not mean that eth will die. A similar problem is now the bitcoin but are waiting for his further growth.

This sentiment is one that in time will hurt ethereum and is currently holding it back, if the platform was stable in having quick and cheap transactions I am sure we would see the price at $1k or more in no time. Hopefully some of the solutions talked about can be successfully implemented and scalability can be forgotten for some years.
