We all know that this year we experienced bitcoin surging up so high from $1k in January then on this month of December it almost touch up to $20k. So, do we have to expect more on Bitcoin just like this in the coming years that will go through?
For me I think I will be positive as this years has and hold the Bitcoin that I have right now.

Expecting 2018 to be a huge year for the crypto world just like 2017. Just look at how bitcoin is growing recently which itself says a lot about the excitement for the upcoming year. So many people including me feel that bitcoin will touch 40k by this time or earlier next year and after that, 100k will be the next goal for the king of the crypto world. I am very happy to be a proud member of this vast and enormous crypto world during these exciting times and I am loving it.

I also hope that next year bitcoin will be better. But the rising price of bitcoin for me is not an indicator of improvement. Me of course it's nice to see how grow in value my money but I'm not sure that rising prices will not lead to their own collapse. This situation hinders bitcoin become a full-fledged currency.

More and more people flocking to get their share = more growth than what we expect. Seriously, I haven't had high hopes for bitcoin to run past $1000 on 2017 and I've never been so wrong in my life. No news, no main driving force for the price to leap and no good developments then suddenly it blew up! 2018 would be one of the most bullish years for bitcoin and hopefully it run past through $20000 as everyone wants it to be.

For me I think I will be positive as this years has and hold the Bitcoin that I have right now.
From 1000$ to almost 20 000$ in one year which has not ended yet is truly remarkable achievement.What can be expected in the following years is a question that many ask, and there is a great deal of speculation and anticipation.The majority comes from big investors like Mike Novogratz who say we can see 40 000$ in next year,or John Mcafee which claims that the price of one Bitcoin will be 1 $ million in 2020. But to progress further it is necessary to solve BTC scalability problem,high fees and unconfirmed transaction is something that prevents BTC to be even more successful than today.That is why I think it will be one of the main factors that will determine what people are most interested in, and that's the price.We have SegWit and soon we should have Lightning Network,I hope they will solve scalability problem. What will be the impact of bitcoin futures on BTC we'll find out soon. |

We can. I think next years for Bitcoin is bright since rhe demand is continuously rising so same thing will happen for its market value. Also , more countries are making Bitcoin legal as a currency which is absolutely in favor for Bitcoin. If there'll be no anomalies to hapoen next year, chances are high that Bitcoin will be more exoensive next year. |

I don't think that we'll see another year with such a price increase.
This year is the year that the average Joe heard about bitcoin, and invested a bit in it. I would say that the largest growth is behind us. For sure, the price could increase a bit, but not 2000%, what happened this year.

I hope in the next year bitcoin would increasingly good, I don't think too much about how much bitcoin, maybe people think price increases bitcoin continuously will damage bitcoin itself, because of lack of transaction occurs, but I think it's no effect, for traders may not menyangkan if bitcoin will be more increased

It's nice to see that bitcoin improves a lot since the opening of 2017 till the end of 2017. It indicates that 2018 will be a huge event for bitcoin. We have to be positive that bitcoin will goes up to 40k dollars. I want also to hold bitcoin but I don't have anyone of it. |

No, I guess next year will be for altcoins. In my observations - bitcoin surge is due to those noobs who have entered cryptocurrency without knowledge about altcoins, all they know is bitcoin rocketing to the moon and they felt the rush to ride it. As these people become interested in crypto, they would probably explore new experiences next year which may probably lead them to altcoins. Admit it, we are all like them during our first week in bitcoins...

I have the same thoughts. I never thought that bitcoin would have this kind of impact for the year 2017. The year started with only a few people knowing about bitcoin and right now, it's been blowing up the internet. I've never seen so many ads and articles about it. Also, it's been frequently in the news lately. This greatly contributed to the price increase which I never expected months before. What 2018 has in store would depend on the reaction and response of the public. The price may finally become stable or continue to rise if there is more positivity for bitcoin this upcoming year. |

yes it will happen just like this year, many new investors will invest bitcoin in 2018 so I'm expecting the price will go up more because maybe bitcoin will legalize some countries in 2018.

This year just kept upping the game each month, each week, and until recently even each day. I've said it several times before, that this really is the final threshold we are standing on, right on the brink of mass awareness. I believe there will still be years ahead of us, 2018 even, where we may experience similar price movements if not wilder patterns. But no longer the paranoia, drama and bewilderment associated with 2017's breakout. Think we should all be happy we were here for it, those who were part of it should have stories to tell. Note that I no longer say mass adoption, because I believe this to be very different from the so-called "adoption" that we're experiencing now: mass numbers of investors who either own rights to Bitcoin or who will participate in futures tradings, none of which will ever actually own nor use Bitcoin. |

I can see lot of replies with positive forecast, But most of them are based on growth in 2017. If you look in to the facts that are favorable for BTC market are positive in past 12 months. But who can expect what will happen tomorrow. coz to be more realistic, BTC market growth is depend on thousands of fact. specially political environment. With recent news some time we may expect bit different political environment which can adversely impact. Just my opinion
