7/14/2013 - HINT: After connecting, simply go to the Mining tab on timecoin-qt and click Start Mining, make sure it is set to solo. The current difficulty of mining TimeCoins is very low, meaning that most people to get on and start solo mining will make a fair share of TMC! Hurry before everyone else does!

We are currently in need of mining pool hosts, seed nodes, and anyone interested in accepting TimeCoins! Lets get this coin going and get it going good!

Well I suppose that is your choice...Others can "waste" their hashing rates and gain some quality TMC and the difficulty will be going upwards.

LTC and FTC both started at a difficulty of 0 as well....Bitcoin did not, but its your choice to mine TMC or not I just highly suggest doing so as its not a bad investment and doesn't take a physical work? haha

They'll be racking up endless streams of orphans while you or whoever else is in the insiders low-latency loop gets all the actual blocks.

its basically just a scammy way of pretending a pre-mine isn't a pre-mine. Graph later what fraction of coins were created in first second, minute, hour, etc and what percent of the first year's coins will already be gone by the end of the first day?

I just edited the last g++ command and removed all the -mgw46.... suffixes.  timecoin-qt is now built

Orphan chains longer than maturity time by the sound of it, how many blocks do mined coins take to mature?

Basically a huge miner can come along any time and mine the whole chain from scratch making the whole thing one stream of orphans unless already some huge miner is taking all the blocks orphaning all the small people one block at a time.

Either way it is orphans all the way down.

Yes I can compile on linux just fine with the current config. Make sure you have both boost libs installed on your Linux..

Yea I noticed certain transactions aren't going threw for me...If I am logically correct by the time the difficulty changes things will start working properly? Unless there is a quicker fix for this?

They take around 30 blocks to confirm client still says 120 but I was actually watching it and I believe it was 30.

Any fix for this? Will it fix by tomorrow? No more orphans? Is there some code to change to fix this now?

Something is funky with the build system.  It tried to add mgw suffixes to the boost library names.

On a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 Linux with all libraries installed to default locations, you shouldn't need to change anything in the makefile.unix it builds up properly for me. Let me know what libraries you have installed?

Yep transactions are coming threw now just fine for me....Seems like we just hit block 650 Difficulty is now changed.
