The journey of bitcoin from 2009 to 2017 is very interesting. Although the stories of individuals(investors) are very interesting and motivational that how they initiated and what problems they faced at earlier stages.

In 2017 the number of businesses accepting bitcoin continues to increase. Where you see the bitcoin in 2018?

Not only bitcoin but many other cryptocurrencies are destined to be the future of exchanges and they will eventually defeat the need of the old currencies.
We just need to support them more and hold our investments.

Next year is very close and many thread are about 2018 and what people think that we can expect next year to happen with bitcoin and other altcoins. I wonder can we expect next year to be better for crypto community? Every year bitcoin is making more and more, bit this year was incredible for bitcoin, if next year can be better then this year then we will see very high price increase, bitcoin will become popular in world not just some countries.

Bitcoin will die, will be replaced by other crypto - which is faster , multifunctional and does not require any fees.

Before you talk something like dying, let's just say that what if the lightning network will save us from paying a high fees and giving us a fast and smooth transactions? If this is going to be real then we must have a patience to wait for it just like by holding your altcoins. As for now you can say that Bitcoin will going to die, but i don't think it will actually going to be true. Since Bitcoin is gradually increasing day by day which is amazing to see specially if you are holding for a long time ago.

some people are predicting 20k$ some are saying it will be 40k$ in 2018 which is also possible bcoz its already around 17k$ but it can also go down and it is also possible so be wise and careful if u r going to invest.

By this time last year, When Bitcoin was itching closer to $1000, Everyone was predicting a possible downtrend all the way back to $200 price levels. No one even predicted btc will hit $17K and beyond. So I think Your predictions are a little bit off. For me, Bitcoin will reach new heights as it's user base doubles with each passing year.

Also in 2017 bitcoin became more popular and have a big boom in terms of price. I'm hoping that more establishment would accept bitcoin and have a lower fees and a more faster transactions. And of course much higher value for the coming 2018.

2017's so far been the most active year, I wonder if it will come down for a bit or keep with this frenetic pace.

Most probably price will rise up or will be stabled for few month, though the uncertainty is apparent but people are benefiting from high price too so many ones shall wished the price should be high. At all its affected alot to physical currency and bitcoin have became much popular virtual currency.

2017 has been an amazing year not only for bitcoin, but for the cryptocurrencies in general. But talking about bitcoin in 2018, I think there's a huge probability we see a consolidation of this new market and technology worldwide. Everyday we see more and more governments and companies talking about cryptos, and of course this is a great impulse.

About bitcoin price, I think the most expected escenario is finishing the year over 200k $ per BTC, but in the otherside, maybe we can see a new "bear market" following the Speculative Bitcoin Adoption/Price Theory

I think $10,000 will become a stable benchmark for bitcoin around second quarter of 2018 but if it is stable for more time and have slight increase then again more people will invest in bitcoin due to stability and profits which will lead to one more pump but altcoins  are going to rule the year 2018 and everyone's waiting for 2018 as it has already predicted as a big year for altcoins like ethreum, Litecoin and other alts.

Well at this last month of year 2017, bitcoin reached its expected or predicted price. Actually it exceeds the expectation of people. For the 2018, maybe it will be more than what it is now. A big price that will make people more rely on it. There will be countries opening they arms for the acceptance of the system of bitcoin.

The same thing will just happen for this year and also for 2018 but there is something interesting with an interview I watched with John McAfee, he said that be prepare for something like war against banks and regulators. I can't remember the whole thing but it sounds like that and that makes sense since bitcoin is starting to become popular and many of investors are jumping to it and storing their wealth and treats it as investment.

It's really difficult to say what will happen to Bitcoin in the next year. I doubt that Bitcoin futures could cause some sort of damage to the Bitcoin value. We have to be patient and don't sell our coins. A lot of people might get acknowledged with cryptocurrencies because this topic is becoming more and more popular.
