There is no single person on earth who haven't heard of bitcoin.
Everyone is talking about it, it's all over the news, everyone is buying it, price is dramatically increasing.
It's like gold rush back in 1848.

So why aren't we calling this bitcoin rush?  
You know, in 20 years from now it would be funny to say - yeah, i bought/mined bitcoin during bitcoin rush back in 2017

I think we are still far from bitcoin being a fever. Although more and more people are finding out about bitcoin and crypto in general, when you look at all the people around the world, people who know about bitcoin is a fraction of a fraction. So we have some way to go yet.

Bitcoin is going really fast with upward trend, I read news some predict 1million till end of next year. Imagine that! If this is really will be I need to buy more when i can when I get paid from my employee. Everything is possible , more and more people talk about it, even my friends are investing - we haven't invested before this is our first time and its paying off so well.

I do agree with op. Many of my friends and relatives ask me about Bitcoin they said that they have heard many news and they have seen many people using this. Yes current craze over bitcoin is just like gold rush in past but gold and bitcoin has no any similarity. Gold can still be mined and there are still many gold mines still undiscovered, while bitcoin has limited supply which will keep bitcoin price high with its increasing demand.

No not everyone know about bitcoin till now, I think less than 5% might have heard about bitcoin and less than 1% might have invested in crypto market till now.

I think there are more people who haven't heard about it compared to the people who have heard it. And there are few people who join/invest on Bitcoin compared to people who has heard it.

No double people are rushing towards bitcoin but only from few of the countries in the world. Unfortunately there are many places where people don't even know the name of bitcoin. In my own country there will be hardly 20% people aware of the bitcoin name, what is it's function? Only a few people will know about it.

A few days ago i went to the mall and i heard a lot of people talking about bitcoin.. A few hours later when i was driving, a old woman was saying "yes, if you want to be succesfull, then invest in bitcoin"

Bitcoin was hyped so much in November and December. It's just hot topic now, that's why price went up this high and stays where it is. I guess it will cool down around Christmas, New Year, then some other shit may appear to entertain people.

I have cash ready to get in and wait another bubble but this got out of hand. Nobody predicted it will go this crazy.
