There is no single person on earth who haven't heard of bitcoin.
Everyone is talking about it, it's all over the news, everyone is buying it, price is dramatically increasing.
It's like gold rush back in 1848.

So why aren't we calling this bitcoin rush?  
You know, in 20 years from now it would be funny to say - yeah, i bought/mined bitcoin during bitcoin rush back in 2017

I dont think everyone knows about bitcoin. I still believe and know that there are parts of this world wherein people have not yet heard about bitcoin. And if ever they do i dont think they already what it is all about. I can cite myself as an example. I been hearing about it since it has started but never gave a minute in knowing what it really is. When i started ready and reaserching about it, everything that i had in my mind before was all wrong.

Exactly that's what my point was. but its also true now its spreading every second and so.

Most people haven't heard about it and even if they did, they most probably have no internnet or no knowledge how to use bitcoin and what it is good for. so informing all people is one thing, giving them a stable internet conenction, a PC and (of course) some money to trade with is another thing, especially in the third world.

In an extent I would say Yes, its looks like that bitcoin is taking the world by storm. Have you heard that Bitcoin has more Google-search than the Kardashians? Yes, that right, we are now at the top of searches around the world. Everyone is on a rush to at least owned a few satoshi's or bitcoin on their wallet. I don't think that the "Gold Rush" wasn't termed doing its height. But just maybe 10-20 years when we are all looking back we can say that we are part of that bitcoin revolution. And this rush is just the beginning, specially when bitcoin peak at $10,000, it is here to stay, and those people who think bitcoin is a bubble up to this time will be left in the closet. LOL.

i guess not all people is already know about the bitcoin. some of them are still don't have internet connection like in different provinces. or some of them are really don't care about bitcoin. i think someday they will know about bitcoin and start to earn like mining or trading. i hope that they internet is free all over the world

I think theres no bitcoin rush happening today because bitcoins price seems so high and not everyone can afford it..its not everyone also talking about it if youre talking on the whole world.There were still alot of places and races that doesn't know about bitcoin yet,proven that in our country.I guess 10 to 15% only who knows about it and i havent been heard that this make as  the talk of the town..not everyone understand it and if this would be explain to some i dont think they would easily understand..thought that it would need further explainations  to avoid different speculations.

Whenever there is new development or stuff comes out in this world it gets popularised a lot. For example once there was Microsoft, then there is Apple and like that. The monopoly never sets in this world at the first place and thats why this era is not the one where bitcoin is alone. Thats why its not rush according to me. In the golden age, the gold was all and there was nothing precious like that. In the current date of the calendar there is rules and regulation and no matter what bitcoin is some what restricted entity. So what we are doing actually is just using the method to earn money or to earn the bitcoin and it doesn't seem to me bitcoin rush or kind of thing really.

Also, bitcoin has not reached everywhere yet, there is still time for world to know about it. There are many regions of the different country's where poverty and no electricity plays the role. So its not a rush its just race!

I disagree with you. On the bitcoins, not everyone knows yet. Someone just heard this word, but does not know what it means. Someone thinks this is a pyramid or a bubble, and only 3-7% of people on the ground know a bit about bitcoins.

In my country only one person and me bought bitcoin, I say this because I have never seen anyone besides me and that person talk about bitcoin and if you ask many people of my country about bitcoin, they will say that they have never heard of it.

Absolutely, bitcoin fever is just begun by having on this year a spectacular and tremendous performance that always do its record breaking value. I believed that bitcoin will still continue to increase as many investors want this bitcoin beacuse they can have a profit after they invest. I can not agree with your statement that all people in the world heard for BTC,I think it's still far from it,but I agree that in this year BTC is become one of the brightest stars in the world of finance and investment.Something that has this kind of growth in price in such a short time certainly must cause a great deal of attention.

What I hear most from the average people is actually some sort of disappointment because they did not before heard of BTC and have missed a chance for good earnings.So there is some kind of BTC rush these days,but I think if price is continue to rise in next years we will see "real" bitcoin rush.

It does look like a whole lot more people have heard from Bitcoin, especially in november when radio and television stations spread the news of the spectacular bitcoin price increase. But on the other hand, this price rise also scared people off, they think It's a bubble that will soon burst. Of course there are also people stepping In, because they're afraid to miss this journey to the moon. It certainly is not a rush.

Its funny speculation but sounds to be right just like the Gold rush in dark ages. The only thing that is changed is its more advance and the competition is too high and every participant is master of tech here. Everyone just know the internet in perfect sense and they want it to be done right in the first place. So for that purpose people are putting lots of money into it and then the competition rises even further. This way things are getting like a rush and this will continue until all the bitcoin is mined successfully. But don’t know what would be next step after that, whether there will be creation of new supply or we will just be holding bitcoin and exchanging them as currency etc. I mean there is also no further development updates about this Bitcoin Rush who we are playing since long time. Hopefully this rush will come to an end where the things would be easier to manage. For example, regulated bitcoin just like the Gold!

I guess if they know bitcoin now, they will not thinking that bitcoin is a pyramid and they will join in bitcoin. I am sure that if they learn bitcoin, they will use bitcoin to make money like what we do now. they will learn to trade to make a profit and they can start to buy something with the profit. I think in 2018, more people will know bitcoin and they will realize that bitcoin is a new way for them to make money.

What ever may be the case,the price has crossed the wildest imagination i had when i started using bitcoin,i never thought these sort of valuation is not at possible this soon,but these rally made me think that i wasted my time by selling off the miners i had because it was not profitable below $500 and i did not expect that the price would climb this steep in a short period of time. Hope it is not a bubble that will burst bad.

People heard about Bitcoin but some of them didn't know the value of it and how precious Bitcoin today. Someone heard about Bitcoin, they will say that, "Oh! Bitcoin is just a scam, you are just wasting your money and time to that." But if those people know all about Bitcoin, I think all of them are being crazy to own at least 1 BTC.

Same thing like what happend on that times. It's like the Gold 2.0 or Cyber Gold. Most people would believe that all cryptocurrencies to hit the whole crowd in 5-10 years. This was the year of Bitcoin all over the news. but, sad for thoes people that don't have any internet connection they can be the late adapters of Cryptocurrencies.

No I am not agreeing with you because people are now aware of bitcoin and they are making a lot of profit with bitcoin. At high price bitcoin will buy me high amount of money and help me to increase my income and profit. Me thinks that there are still a lot of people out there that never heard of bitcoin. And those that are rushing are just FOMO. We are still far cry from the mass adoption that we are hoping for.

We can't call them rush because as I have said, only a small percentage of the population recognized it, and (2nd) second, if they knew about it and want to enter the ecosytem, the price is too high to get it today.
