You need your 12 words to get it back. So always write down your 12 words in a paper and store it safey. They form a seed that generates the addresses and private key over and over again. Without tthe 12 words, no way out.

If you lose your secret key from your wallet, you will never get access to your tokens. You will lose them. Therefore, securely store your key in several places, and not just in the computer. I also wrote down my key in my notebook.

Guys what will happen if you accidentally lost the copy of your private key?..it's still possible to transfer your tokens to your other wallet using your wallet address..?? Does anyone know?..thanks in advance
I think the only solution right now is immediately transfering all your coins into another wallet, and it's better with a cold one , it's will be more safety .
Losing the copy of your private key is the worst thing that could be happened when you're holding your coins or your Bitcoins.
Just don't let anyone know about the exist of it or you'll be regret somedays.

I do not really understand about this yet, but after I find out it turns out this private key is very important. Losing your private key means losing your bitcoin. That's why we have to be careful with it, keeping it safe and having a backup copy is the only way we should do it.

Smiley   the private key is the most important thing to make access to a wallet and once lost is almost impossible to recover again unless backup or wallet service provided a recovery phrase which we backup in this situation offline backup of each one would ensure totally in safety is the wallet since you would be in control of the coins without anyone esle access for it .and in other words its a good idea to keep the wallet in mind because when it's gone its hard to really come back so double the be care and keep more than anything .

As far as I am concern there is no way out of the problem. Yes certainly a hacker may hack if he tries but no legal way out

if you still have the Keystore File(UTC/JSON) stored on your device and you still remember your password then you can access your wallet, that is the only other way to access whenever you lost your PK.

that's the most important thing in the myether wallet that the privite key is if it's someone else's content to steal your altcoin funds from the mew wallet so it's better to keep it safe and do not lose it

There is a downloaded file on myetherwallet, i think it is a copy of a key or something im not so sure because i have'nt lost my private key yet. Private key is the most important of all because it is the key of your account rather than your password or pins to it, once you lost your private key there is no turning back and ways to get it back.

im sorry to hear that you lost yout private keys. you should lost you private keys because it is your money, consider your keys as your tresure too you should not loose it. i would reccomend u to use wallets like trezor or ledger nanno its the cheapest on cold storages, print your private keys and store it on safe place. make a copy so that you have a backup. always remember that no one else can get your lost private keys because it is unique.

The loss of access to your secret key if you can not recover it or otherwise bypass it means a complete and final loss of access to your coins or tokens. There is no other way to gain control over a digital purse. In this case, you are left to forget about your coins.

Losing a private key for sure you will not open your account. Unless the wallet have email account that can attached and you cn easily to forget password and create new private key. But as of now all of the wallet like MEW only privat key so better to keep safe your account and keep to safe place your privte key that you know it will not erase or gone.

Private key is the most important thing and if you lose your key there is no way to access your wallet. But if you have the Keystore / JSON File with password you can recover it. Just remember to keep your private keys in a safest place in future and if not you will lose your tokens again.

Keystore / JSON file is for Eth only but for bitcoins the only secret key is the private key and it is the only way with which we can access our bitcoins. If this key is lost, then the bitcoins are lost forever.
Also if the private key is compromised, anyone can steal your coins too.

It is better for you not to think about it cause you can never access your account anymore.
This a big problem in using blockchain technology,  and I know a lot of have lost their private key which the code needed for accessing our account. That's why we should be very careful with that, keeping it safe and have back-up copies is the only way we should do.

Once you lose your private key, unless you have some other way to get into your wallet then all you coins are lost forever, never lose your private key.
