Buy and Hold 100 Cryptocurrencies for 5 Years - Week 1 - $404 USD in profit

Interesting journey, I have always want to start my journey with top 30 altcoins but find it a hassle to withdraw the coins into its respective wallets.

Considering the withdrawal fees and managing individual coins in its wallets, do you have a good way to do it?

I don’t think a hardware wallet is able to support all the coins and  not safe to keep the coins in exchanges for 1 to 5 years.

 Why to keep them 5 years? good idea is to share your investment to 100 coins,but when you see profit from one of them,sell it!!then pick another one!!!!
 Why to wait? if you want to wait without any buy-sell action, better to keep Bitcoin!!! no risk!!!!

I think that you have great willpower. I can not look calmly, if the price rises, I want to fix the price and put a render on sale. 5 years. It is too long. Your experiment is very interesting, but I do not have the patience to last 5 years.)

5 years is a LOT of time and a LOT of work, would like to see results of somebody who did that on early 2017 running that challenge for a year

This is not a unique experiment but simply a strategy which big companies or mutual funds adopt to gain more profit. It is called diversification of risk or portfolio management. But I am not sure about time period that is taken is authenticated or not. We need to evaluate our investment on quarterly or half yearly basis so that we can take out our funds from non-performing or poor performing coins and shift these funds to some useful coins where we can get far better returns than before.

Pretty cool idea. But I am not sure if I would want to hold for 5 years. But then we never know, and you might get lucky and invest in the next facebook or google. I am sure you will end up making good money.

Spreading and waiting are not bad ideas at all. There are many stories of people getting rich just by "hodling", but I think that the competition has got fiercer now and we have to be selective with our money.

Don't see total profit/loss on the main page, do you need help with this? It's possible to fetch all rates via API and make a simple widget for overall profit.
Let me know if you'll need help with this.
