Have any of you guys noticed that in December of 2017 multiple projects like these were setup were the team remained anonymous and the masternode rewards are extremely high? seems fishy to me. I feel this is cordinated
I've noticed this as well after being scammed myself just before the New Year with a new coin and have been looking at this Numus coin recently.
What concerns me about lots of the new coins being announced in December is that the Devs remain anonymous. Now, this could of course be part of wanting to live up to the idea of "anonymous, decentralized currency" philosophy, or it could be something more sinister.
With Numus, it concerns me that the ROI for a masternode is so high. The old saying, "if something seems to good to be true, it usually is" springs to mind. In addition, the domain registrar is generic:
https://www.whois.com/whois/numus.cashCompare this to dash.org where there is a persons name as the contact and a legal company as the Organisation:
https://www.whois.com/whois/dash.orgThe domain registrar used for numus.cash is
https://njal.la/ who are a privacy-aware domain registration service. On their About page they say "The idea is to make sure that we minimise your visibility to the public."
I'm also concerned about the lack of detail on the Numus website.
I am not sharing this to spread FUD, but to advise everyone to proceed with caution before committing to any new coin and not to get blinded by the high ROI this particular coin shows.
