What do you mean mate? Do you even know what segwit is? Smiley It's protocol in original Bitcoin. It's in Bitcoin and it's working just fine. Rest of it is just forks, like this one.

So why do we have bitcoin segwit coins?

Because someone have decided to name their coin like that. I can name my new altcoin "Bitcoin Core Segwit (BCS)". I will distribute tokens to people etc, etc... Ultimate confusion, isn't?! Cheesy  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy But still possible. People can name their coins as they with. This one here is called SegWit2X, because it's following a slightly different path than original Bitcoin with SegWit.

Hi, can someone explain why B2X is trading @ $15 on https://yobit.net/en/trade/B2X/BTC and @ $55 on https://hitbtc.com/exchange/B2X-to-BTC

It's a long story, but to summarize: hitbtc is trading futures on Segwit2 that was proposed then cancelled last year, this was a proposed Sha256 mod. Yobit issued "this" B2X to their clients holding BTC at the time of the fork, but they are not allowing people to deposit B2X onto their site, so effectively it is internal trading only. The only exchange where you can deposit and trade "this" B2X is Exrates, price at time of writing is $3.17. Well apparently there is a Brazilian exchange where you can put "this" B2X on, but yeah I'll let you decide if that's worth looking into. Bets on when "this" B2X becomes a penny crypto anyone?

It is a joke not even funny. It is worthless.

The only idea, is that you have a problem with your local Blockchain.
You know how to repair it, via the console?
use google!
but 1st secure your wallet.dat, make a copy and put on a secure place!

The strategic objectives of the SegWit2X project are conducive to the interests of the miners, and SegWit2X is very attractive for the vast number of miners.
