For the next week, Tradehill has matched Mt. Gox's 0.3% commission rate on trades.

Desperate much?

I guess competition is a wonderful thing...

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Ok, now go back and read my post.  Who said they're fantastic?

I just said they're matching Mt. Gox's rate, and not for very long either.

Competition *is* a wonderful thing. I didn't say Tradehill is a wonderful thing. And "Desperate much?" doesn't sound like I'm too excited about it.

You need to improve your reading comprehension.

Probably better posting here, since most miners are interested in exchange sites and that Bitcoin Discussion is filled with "OMG BITCOIN CRASH!!!111oneone!1" threads.

I wouldn't say we're desperate. We've made a lot of changes including the API and we would like to see the volume jump up.
Additionally volume and liquidity will be good for everyone. If we pull in the same revenue and double our volume everyone will benefit.
Bitcoin has been pretty flat the last week or so but we don't expect that to stay for long.

We've got a few things in the pipeline specifically for miners / pools. We're working out the details now and will be announcing it soon.
We try to answer every email as fast as possible so feel free to send us one if you need anything.

Now that we have a Tradehill rep here --

Is there any way to improve the *awful* market data view?

There is no way to view open orders, and not even a good way to see what the market is doing via graph. You're totally flying blind.
All you see is a big blob of red and blue. How is that useful to traders?

Tradehill has potential, don't get me wrong -- but I think you REALLY, really need to provide more market information to users.

Thanks,

Matthew

We have a guy in Sweden that has made some beautiful charts.
We're implementing them now. I'm actually getting ready to speak with him on Skype now.

We have a long list of changes we want to make. We're not happy with our interface yet and want to provide more, better and clearer information.

I like virwox. I want to transfer my cashed out bitcoins to neteller. IfTradehill for example sells debitcards loaded with funds, that would be great too.

http://virwox.com - Bitcoins via CCard, Skrill, paysafe, paypal & SEPA
Convert your bitcoin into spendable fiat money in less than 2 days. Poker Players use this method to avoid "unnecessary trouble" with the country they live in ... PM me for details. +1:naz86,b4nana,tinua,smart1986,fhh
