Since i too own a gambling website i was about to ask this question.  good that you asked and many people answered their feedback here. but no one said the approx cost that would require to do these promotions.

If you are talking about signature campaign, you can set your own budget for it. How much you can afford to spend for it in a week or month then you can decide the number and the rate for the participants based on your budget.
For higher rank participants, you need to spend more so you can avoid it by hiring low-middle rank members. As long as you can manage it properly, I think it will be an effective advertising and worth what you spend.

It is quite bolstering with gamblers and there are a lot of people that want to try something new. So I believe as well that this is the best place to be advertising your gambling site. Also, some of the best places to advertise are those cryto related blogs, trading information (coinmarketcap), and other platforms.

Well you don't want to restrict your market to those in the forums right? With the vast coverage of social media today, it will be easy to promote your site through mediums like facebook, ig and twitter. It's easy to take advatage of technology nowadays for advertisements

Because most of the people in this forum are active here only to carry the signatures and make money. They will not sign up in the gambling site. Even if they sign up, they will use only the faucets and free giveaways. It is not worth it after all, signature campaigns are just a way to expose your project, but just using your signature for more than one month or so, is a waste of time and money for the bussiness owner.

You need to spend a lot of money in order to pay them out too.

It is not the best, but it is one of the best ways to promote gambling site. There are some other best ways such as through the forum ads, social campaign, etc. Signature campaign itself is not enough if there are no interesting offers on the gambling site so signature campaign can be something useless/not effective way to promote the site. All things should come from the website first, once the site has some attractive offers then it can be followed by signature and other campaign.

For sure there are a lot of people who could see the signature campaigns here in bitcointalk and that could lead to exposure of your gambling site which is good.
