why not? if you trully believes in bitcoin then it will possbly happen because there is nothing impossible in bitcoin. bitcoin will surely reach 30,000 dollars just before the end of the year based on its current movement these past weeks and sure it can last or stay for a longer time as long as the correction has been done. cant you see on these past days bitcoin is still on this level  and it didnt drop verry hard because the price of bitcoin has been already corrected. for sure this will also happen on the future new all time high of bitcoins.

Nope. I think the price ceiling for this year is probably around $25k. $30k is just way too crazy to actually happen in my opinion. Obviously i could be proven wrong, but i would not bet my own money on this event happening if i were you.

Even though we have seen 50% rises in short amounst of time, we only have less than 2 weeks time in the month of December. There is simply not enough time for bitcoin to break through $20k, and then $30k, when we've broken $10k just very recently.

It could happen in 2018, perhaps even in January. That's for sure.

Yeah, I don't think it would surpass 30000$ before the year's end and in my opinion, I expect 25000$ would be the maximum for the bitcoin to achieve in the current year. That would also be astonishing for the bitcoin to achieve the landmark of 25k this year but as you can see it has gathered a great momentum at this very moment, so let us see where it go as everything seems quite unpredictable right now since all values are getting smaller against its enormous hike making it more powerful than before...

If you calculate based on previous gains, then yes. I however can't discard a short term correction that might take the price down to sub $15,000 levels for a while. I think a lot depends on how CME enters today.

I am quite sure that the general expectations of what's going to happen today are massive. I even consider the expectations to be unrealistic considering that we might have CME already counted in at current levels.

We'll see where things go from here. It might indeed as you pointed out attempt to reach the $30,000 mark this year. One thing is almost sure, every correction that we face will not dump the market below the $10,000 mark.

30k$ is huge and I will be surprised if it would touch down to that price, but im doubting for that prediction since there so many things needed and yet the year is nearly ending and the point for predicting that is totally insane so for me the closest prediction to see is 25k$ since its nearly coming unto it right now and we have many days left to count to see if that price would really came. But lets also watch for sudden fall cames since theirs a stance that one would came after some huge pump.

Reaching 30 000$ before 2018 will indeed be (very) difficult. We are now almost at 20 000$, so still a long way to go to reach 30k $.

Seeing on the days or weeks left on this year then i would say its not possible for sure but we cant be sure because this is the thing we do say when we do speculating if bitcoin price would reach 20k and now we are hitting up and we are not still end of this year. We do have still 2 weeks but i would say this thing wont be enough to reach that point on a short period of time. We might see it maybe on 2-4 years in my own view.

Definitely! But maybe sometime in March of 2018 and not the end of this year. But I'm not saying I won't be happy if that happens, I might do a happy dance if I see my btc grew that much within just 2 weeks. In current market literally anything is possible. If we look back at the moment we reached the $10k level, it would need a 100% increase in order to reach where we stand today, and we managed to do that in such a short period of time. I have no doubt that if the market is going for it, we can definitely reach such levels, but the likelihood of that to happen are on the lower side. I think the most we can expect from the market, is to maintain a range close to the $20k level, which ultimately is a fantastic achievement for this year. How many times before have we had the honor of experiencing a near 2000% increase within a year?

The speculation that pushed the price around twenty thousand is because of the derivatives market and it will start on 18th and after that,never expect big rally as people might be selling off their coins when they are taking a vacation and either the price will stable itself or we might see a correction after these news.
