Thanks.

One of my PCs synced in 30 seconds while the other took over 5 minutes.  So long as you've updated your conf file (and saved the changes) you should be fine.

The inbound ones likely are not able to accept inbound connections themselves, so just clutter up people's lists making them waste time trying to connect to nodes that are not equipped to accept the connection...

For addnode, people need nodes accepting incoming commections. how do you know whether one of your incoming ones has the ability to accept incoming itself? i suspect that you do not. Thus you should be giving people a list of your outgoing connections, that is, nodes you have actually found to be able to accept incoming connections themselves.

The botnets must have been initiated.  Has the hashing power of primecoin reduce by a comparable %?

This was the best article I've ever read on the internet. Thank you so much for the wonderful overview, and what a good job you did, I must add Smiley~

Well, I think I have came to my conclusion that QUARKY ISNT TOO QUARKY anymore. It is sad how someone with 4 posts and 0 reputation on bitcointalk, and contribution to the forum wants to put up a new coin for people to mine. That just shows you something...

EDIT: FUCK THIS COIN, CREATOR MADE SOMETHING DIFFERENT OK, BUT IT HAS NOTHING OF VALUE TO OFFER APART FROM BEING CPU ONLY, AND IS THAT AN ADVANTAGE? BOTNETS ANYONE?

FUCK THIS SHIT, AT LEAST PRIMECOIN FINDS PRIMES, WITH THIS THE ADMIN PROVIDED 1 SINGLE NODE WHICH REJECTED CONNECTIONS BUT BROADCASTED HIS MINED COINS SO HE CAN ORPHAN EVERYTHING (MOST PROBABLY A DELIBERATE SO HE CAN MINE AT LOW DIFF WITH HIS STACKED UP CPU'S)

AND US PEOPLE WHO TRIED TO MINE LOST 100'S OF BLOCKS, RIGHT NOW I HAVE 0 BLOCK FUCK THIS, I SOUND LIKE I AM BITCHING BECAUSE I HAVE NO COINS BUT IT'S THE TRUTH.
