In the last two weeks bitcoin increased by more than ten thousand dollars, no one knows what is the real purpose of why it has been increased.
But we all know that the last future releases were probably the last thing that made bitcoin go up in a crazy way...
When the CBOE futures got released it increased by more than $1000 in a few mins.
Probably the same is going to happen tomorrow.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

It already reach $20k before the end of the year. I think it is because of the appearing of so many altcoins this day. The competition in the market is getting bigger. Yes no one could beat Bitcoin in the market price but all the other coins to be listed in other exchange must pay in Bitcoin. So the demand is getting high. The higher the demand, the higher the cost or value. We can't be certain if it will continue next year but the possibility is not 0%.
Competition is not growing people who are smart and have a little bit known about the crypto they all go for the bitcoin and the reason behind the failure of altcoin is because of bitcoin higher prices and the recent rise of price is because people admitted he fact the maybe it will cost more to them in future and its better for them to get into it now, and this rise will keep on moving and we will experience more profit soon,

I think bitcoin is going to be below  $20,000 before the end of this year as a lot of people are dump it now for bitcoin cash because of the high mining fees the network is charging investors who may like to trade in bitcoin. Something has to be done about this in other for the to go up. 2018 is going to be a great year in the history of crypto currencies and we are to end the year 2017 above  $20,000 for us to start the new year with strong foundation.

People are selling their bitcoin for bitcoin cash out of greed traders have no loyalty and they are going to get whatever asset that is hot, they have been doing that since the beginning and they are going to keep doing so, now all the problem that you state are true and exists but solutions have already been voted and those solutions are on their way of being implemented.

Yes in last two weeks a lot of people have sold their bitcoin because its price was very high and still its price is going high some of the people they have sold bitcoin and some of them have still keep it on hold so bitcoin is very good currency for profit and this year bitcoin is giving outstanding profit to its users so in next week bitcoin price will be more high and its investors can take a very good profit from it.

I have noticed a huge increase in the value of Bitcoin within last two weeks. Before two weeks it was on 12000$ while today's current value of a bitcoin is 19407.69 US Dollars. What do you think that a the end of Dec 2017 what will be the price of a Bitcoin?
After the bitcoin price reaches $20k from $19k... the bitcoin went through heavy market correction where bitcoin loses about $45% of it original value. The bitcoin price went down to $11k all because of the correction. Then, bitcoin manages to recover to $17k and it went through another correction.
