This is what I plan on buying / using:
XFX Radeon Rx Vega 64 8GB HBM2 3xDP HDMI Graphic Cards RX-VEGMTBFX6 x 130 = $194,998.7
ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ 13GPU Mining Motherboard CryptoCurrency x 10 = $3000
Corsair HXi Series, HX1200i, 1200 Watt (1200W), Fully Modular Power Supply, 80+ Platinum Certified x 10 = $2800
Kingston Value RAM 4GB 1600MHz PC3-12800 DDR3 Non-ECC CL11 DIMM SR x8 Desktop Memory (KVR16N11S8/4) x 10 = $281
Intel BX80662G4400 Pentium Processor G4400 3.3 GHz FCLGA1151 x 10 = $570.4
T-Module PCI-E Express 1x to 16x Powered Riser Cables 0.6m x 22 = $1001
I am going to try and see if I can get a bulk deal on those gpu's.
The average industrial electricity rate in Wenatchee is 2.18¢/kWh.
The goal of all of this is to try and maximize profits. I love feedback, please let me know if I should take a different approach at this.

Personally I keep my mining hardware hedge at around 10-25% of my crypto holdings.
Be smart.

do you know how much he could make lol, that would be insane. he could easily make it back and then have the hardware to profit more

Do you really think I should get the RX's? I just want the best of the best stuff. The RX 570/580 are currently the best cards for mining ETH by far. Vega 56/64: 44-46 MH/s $500-$700 each = $11.3-$15 per MH/s on ETH RX 570/580: 28-31 MH/s $250-$300 each = $8.9-$10 per MH/s on ETH You would be better off mining XMR with the Vega's instead of ETH and then converting to ETH. Even then the RX 570/580's get about half the hash rate for about half the cost of the Vega, so hash/$ is about the same.

Even then the RX 570/580's get about half the hash rate for about half the cost of the Vega, so hash/$ is about the same. but that also means a shit ton more gpus and a a lot power more being consumed, psus themselves use about 100w ac from the wall atop what is provided, so if those 1 rig needs a 1200w psu at the wall you could expect something more like 1300w roughly per psu. 100watts adds up quickly

first Question, do you have any experience at mining? maybe with cpu, gpu, RDP, VPS etc? better to learning about mining with low budget, so you can learning more detail about algoritm etc.

I was just thinking if I get the RX's instead of the Vega's i'd have to buy more supplies all around because i'll have way more gpu's.

Thanks for the link. This is really useful information. I've always been looking for ways to reduce power consumption of my rigs but never thought the PCIE riser version would be helpful. When you have more than 20 GPUs even the small reduction in power consumption could really save you a few dollars a month. Thanks again. I wonder if the ver. 009 risers also have these features of the 008 one.

that's weak, and there's no guarantee price will go up on said coins

that's weak, and there's no guarantee price will go up on said coins Exactly. A $2000 investment in ETH at $300 in June would have gained about 240% as of now and be worth ~$4800. A $2000 investment in a 6 card RX 570 4GB mining rig back in June would have netted about 0.7 ETH per month for ~$45 in power costs a month. Today that ETH is worth ~$3000 and you still have the mining rig producing more ETH for the cost of your power regardless of what happens to the price of ETH.

Start with 50k a small farm and add more as you go along , hardware sitting idle waiting for other parts is basically losing money , and I;m not even saying buy eth only LTC wil go to 500-600 this year, btc probably to 50k , eth probbaly to 2k right before POS launches end of 2018. there is alot more money to be made in buying currencies than just mining, smart people do both

one 1200W PSU powering a 13 GPU rig? maybe ok at cryptonight, but what if you want to ethash, neoscrypt or dualmine?

I suggest you check at whattomine what power you have to supply for different algos with your 13 vega gpu config, then you will see that it has roughly to be twice of what you have planed. if you plan to use windows then the next surprise is that the drivers support only 12 gpu in windows 10, linux I don't know. you should consider to build a master config and see if it has more suprises for you, like heat, or what ever.
