I was looking around at some altcoins. Been following ETC progress for a while now. Its slowly but steadily rising. Good investment maybe?

Ethereum classic need more time, it is always better to invest in the original Ethereum because people still trust it more than the classic version. |

They passed a good year in 2017 by makin an icrease 10 or 15 times. The next year is still surprise for ethereum classic. We need to wait and see the result whether it will go up to $50. |

ETC is one of the top cryptos in market cap, as such it should be part of any diversified crypto portfolio in my opinion. However it has not done enough to differentiate itself from ETH, yet.

How is that though, seems to me like ethereum is moving in directions while eth classic is staying behind. I don't think they are staying behind. They are moving forward and updating. But just like mentioned before, the crypto community still is a little bit cautious when it comes to ETC. So they don't have as much coverage as ETH. |

Ethereum Classic is just a copy of ethereum, it can not do anything, because all the smart contracts are being runned with Ethereum, not with ETC. That is probably the main utility of ethereum, and if you can not do the same with ethereum classic, tell me, is it worth it? Of course that it is not. It is going up because all the speculators who are investing in there are thinking that it will spike just like the scenario between bitcoin and bitcoin cash a few months before. |

You can develop Dapps on ETC just as well as you can develop Dapps on ETH.

I use to think ETC was just wasting it's time and should let it go. This was formed by price and marketing mainly due to not researching it.
So now I'm going to research ETC.
Now I think ETH has grown past its use and the original may now start to come back into favour.
I can't listen to skinny-boy Vitalik talk as I judge him on his looks, youth, and lisp, again proving my initial shallowness ("initially" but it is me searching the vast crypto landscape for something that interests me and then I dig deeper) But they have created a slow (kitties Network killer) Centralised (Vitalik was able to stop trading and rollback the chain to get back hacked tokens), insecure (Smart contract code lost millions and moving to POS which is less secure than POW) network that has no cap. I.e. "ether is capped at 18 million ether per year"

Ethereum is definitely a good investment and I am sure its price will definitely increase in future. You can see nowadays daily many ICOs are popping up and all these ICOs use ethereum platform to build their tokens and smart contracts. So obviously its price will increase and I am sure that its a good investment if you consider for long term investment.

Etc rising is always slowly, if u are patient invest to etc but i think u can find better altcoin like Ark, Komodo and Genesis Vision. This for short time will have big pump.

It is not a bad decision, look at the charts, the price was less than two dollars each when those coins were forked and distributed on the exchanges. I sincerely hope that the ETC will have growth following the ETH. I am holding them.
So everybody who received those coins for free, almost the half of those people sold them out (just like it happened with bitcoin cash at the beggining) But who knew that it was going to be over $35 by today? No one. |

Don't see any reasons why ETC price should increase dramatically in the upcoming future. They follow the same updates as ETH does and just copy their work without adding anything new. A really useless fork if you'd ask me.

Confident by 99 per cent that this coin will grow very soon in value because it is one of the top coins that have not been pumped for a long time in the price. |
